We walked back to the hut after being at the tree for a few hours. I held Neteyam's hand on the way back and even through the beach. He had a point I had been through a lot and wasn't scared.
Stepping back into the hut we were luckily met with Jake and Neytiri. They smiled at us and we sat down by them. I was more so sitting in front of them.
"Y/n has something she wants to talk to you guys about," Neteyam stated earning a looking from me. There was a much better way we could have started this.
They turned their heads to me to listen I took a deep breath and looked down then back up at them.
Sitting there I explained to them what I saw and they listened. Jakes ears perked up when he heard me say something about problems heading our way whereas Neytiri had the opposite reaction and her ears went back and they shot each other a look. Finishing my story both the parents took a breath and looked at both me a Neteyam.
"I promise you guys I'm not crazy," I told them when they stayed silent.
"y/n dear, we believe," Neytiri told me, "It's just a lot to take in,"
"Listen to Eywa y/n/n," Jake looked at me grabbing my hand and I looked at him confused, "Don't fret on this, you'll know why you were chosen when the time comes," He told me patting my hand.
"She told me there was a problem for a reason, do you guys know what that problem is?" I asked them and all three of them bowed their heads, "what?"
"Sky demons," Neytiri said under her breath but loud enough we could hear. My heart sunk a little, I don't get why they keep coming back.
"y/n, thank you for telling us all of this because now we can be prepared," Jake told me.
We heard a knock on the side of the hut and saw Kiri there with Tuk. She greeted her parents and smiled at me.
"I think I found something that can help you heal faster and take some of the pain away," Kiri told me while Tuk was smiling proudly.
"Gemme," I told Kiri and we laughed. She placed it on my wounds and I could already feel less pain and knew it would only be a week or so left of this. I thanked her and gave her a hug along with Tuk. She was dying to give me a hug but didn't want to hurt me.
I love how I feel like I belong here. Neytiri has softened her perspective of me and enjoys me being around. Jake looks after me like one of his kids. Tuk just adores me and Neteyam, even lo'ak likes me being around I joke with him he jokes with me. And Kiri is just so awesome. And Neteyam, he just makes me feel so loved.
We sat in the hut for a while talking with each other until everyone left leaving me and Neteyam alone. We sat side by side holding each other.
"How are you feeling love?" Neteyam asked me, "I'm already feeling better," I told him with a smile.
"That's good but I still want you to take it easy," He told me and all I did was just stick my tongue back out at him. "You know if you weren't wearing that mask I'd grab your tongue." he said.
I took that as a challenge though. I took a breath and took my mask off sticking my tongue out at him.
"Put you're mask on y/n" he said in a less joking matter but I kept it off still sticking my tongue out. I got him to laugh and he eventually tried to grab my tongue but I turned my head so he couldn't. This started a little war, he climbed infront of me kind of straddeling my legs trying to get it.
We went back and forth until he looked outside for a split second, I took the chance to lick the side of his face. He froze for a second slightly opened his mouth before slowly turning his head and did the same thing to me. I laughed so hard and grabbed my mask to put back on to take a breath.
I looked at him sweetly, this man was my whole world and he has no clue. I looked into his yellow eyes and was just lost in them. He was looking back into mine. We were lost in each others presence.
"I will cherish you forever," Neteyam said to me still looking into my eyes. His face was so perfect with his bioluminescence, it was like looking into the night sky but better. Neteyam leaned forward and took off my mask and kissed my cheek. He followed by laying his forehead on mine and closing his eyes.
"I was so scared y/n, you're an angel sent from Eywa herself, you're beautiful and strong. I've never met someone like you and I don't think you realize how special you are to me." He said causing me to blush and not sure what to say.
"Neteyam, when I was coming back it felt like my soul was being torn apart. I felt broken, that's one of the reasons I cried when I woke up. I had no clue what was happening spiritually. Because of what was happening to my soul I was ready to leave, but then I thought about you. The more I thought about you the more my soul healed," I stopped to take a breath, "You saved me in more ways than one, when I thought of you I was brought peace and then it made sense, you are my peace, you are my home." I finished and looked at him deeply in his eyes.
He was lost for words, I didn't mean to say the thing about me being ready to leave but it came out. I don't know why I can't tell you I love you, I want to so bad Neteyam but something is tellling me to wait.
We were caught up in the moment and didn't want it to stop. We laid down next to each other and just enjoyed each others presence once more. He played with my hair lightly as to not hit the spot on the back of my head, I may or may not of taken a slight nap.
His heart beat soothed me and the way he held me made me feel safe. I enjoyed everything about him being by me. He has no clue just how much he saved me. I can try to explain it to him but it just won't make sense.

I hope you liked the bonding between them.
