"So what aren't you guys telling me," I asked trying to catch Lo'ak off guard. "And don't lie I can see it in your eyes," I said crossed my arms.
"W-w-what?" Lo'ak stuttered out. " it's nothing"
"Did you seriously just stutter and say it's nothing?" I asked laughing
"You shouldn't worry about it, it's going to be okay," Lo'ak said looking away to his Ikran.
"See you saying it's going to be okay means it's not and something up," I said walking to him.
I looked at him as he was undoing some of the riding gear off his Ikran. I continued to look at him coldly until I got some sort of response out of him.
"Look I really shouldn't be telling you this because Neteyam may get very pissed," Lo'ak said reasoning with me.
"I won't tell him you told me," I said nodding my head at him.
Lo'ak huffed and looked behind me to make sure Neteyam wasn't coming out. He looked back at me into my eyes and he smiled.
"You know how you called for an Ikran and none answered," Lo'ak asked.
"Yeah, wanna talk about not feeling like I belong," I laughed.
"But the one that did answer and came to you was the one in the sky..." he said trying to connect the dots for me.
"Toruk?!" I whisper yelled
"So you know," he said nodding his head, "Toruk chose you, he belongs to you as of right now you just need to make the bond in some way,"
"I thought he was just attacking us," I said flipping.
"No, you hissed and he answered but you pushed for a normal Ikran to defend its self and chose you which isn't bad many people had to do that, without Toruk having a front row seat though." He went on continuing to check that Neteyam wasn't coming out.
"Oh my Eywa," I said looking around, "why me," I asked "is that what Neteyams calling your parent about?"
"Well you are chosen by her and supposed to be protector," Lo'ak said waving his hand, "and yes he doesn't know what to do cause he doesn't want you to get hurt,"
"Well I get taming Toruk would be hard but hurt?" I asked.
"Who ever takes Toruk become Toruk Makto, a leader during sorrow and rough times, through battles,". Lo'ak said point at me, "so that means that's coming and you need to be the leader,"
"Oh my.. I can do it," I said nodded at Lo'ak.
"First you need to wait for neteyam to get out here and tell us what the parents say," Lo'ak says grabbing my shoulders.
"It's not about what your parents say, it was Eywa has chosen me for,". I said to Lo'ak softly. "And I'm sure they say the same thing,"
I started to walk back over to my Ikran and hop on the top of it.
"Y/n what are you doing,". Lo'ak said weary.
"I'm becoming Toruk Makto," i said with a smile and called out "I-I-I-I!!!!" While i took off.
"You guys can either come or stay!" I yelled as I watched Lo'ak run to get neteyam.
I began my journey in the skies to find Toruk. He's a big ass Ikran how hard is he to find?
Flying in the sky I had no idea where I was going and realized I may want both Lo'ak and Neteyams help to find Toruk.
As that thought popped in my head I laughed at myself knowing Neteyam would not allow me to do this and was probably planning on leaving.
