Dream Come True

Tuk was the first to turn her head around followed by Kiri, Jake, Neytiri. They turned their heads and starred and me confused. I smiled at them and it was like my smile was a tell tail sign on who I was. Lo'ak and Neteyam were the last ones to turn their heads after looking at each other.

Lo'ak turned his head first looking at me in shock. He patted Neteyam on the shoulder hard to get him to look. "Please don't be messing with me" Neteyam begged hurt in his voice.

I felt my ears perk back again hearing how hurt he was hurt me. Just look at me Neteyam please. He has his head down still facing away, he seemed so hurt that he just gave up hope.

"I think it's her," Lo'ak said quietly, trying to get Neteyam to turn around.

Neteyam slowly turned around with his eyes and head down. I can tell he just didn't want to be disappointed if I wasn't there.

He slowly lifted his head and eyes to meet mine. When he finally saw mine his face lifted up but more so in a questioning form. I smiled at him and I just saw him melt of emotions.

He swam over to me fast to see if I was real. I stayed where I was smiling and lightly crying of joy.

When he got up to me he stopped and looked into my eyes back and forth between them as I did his. He lightly touched my face as if I was going to disappear and when I didn't, he kissed my forehead.

I felt him start crying, "hey hey," I said softly but before I could say anything else he wrapped me in a hug that was extremely tight. He held his hand on my head holding me in closer and his other arm around my torso. He let out a breath and was breathing heavy like he didn't believe I was really here.

I wrapped my arms around him reciprocating the hug. He was so warm and he felt like home. I felt myself crying from being happy.

The rest of the Sully family came over to us and joined in on the hug. I felt Tuk hug me, "I told you I'd be closer than you thought," which caused her to giggle but everyone else to look at us. I told them I'd tell them later.

We all got into a huge family hug and individual hugs as well. Everyone held me so tight I was running out of energy. Who knew coming back from the dead could wear you out?

Everyone looked at me in the eyes and my skin, I don't get why they were so fascinated my eyes or skin, I just assumed cause I'm now in a Navi body.

We all stayed there for a minute just taking in the chance we were given I started to run out of breath breathing out of my mouth. "We should probably get back, I'll have you ride with me," Neteyam said taking my hand and going over to his Ilu. "We can teach you some of the stuff tomorrow with the Queue,"

He hopped on his Ilu still holding my hand while I stayed in the water. I smiled awkwardly at him completely embarrassed by what I was just about to say.

"I don't have anything on," I whispered to him and looked at everyone. He smiled and chuckled to himself trying not to embarrass me.

"Kiri, can you run and grab y/n some clothing," Neytiri said smiling. I whipped my head around and embarrassed that she heard me.

"I just hugged everyone not wearing anything," I said obviously embarrassed at this point.

"It's okay Love, you didn't know and we didn't even notice until you said something," Neteyam said to me.

I lowered myself in the water trying to cover myself. I smiled at everyone awkwardly and they laughed.

It seemed like everyone was just trying to make everything seem normal, and it's not. I have this sinking feeling in my chest but maybe that'll just go away with time.
