🌹Part 5B : Chapter Seven

~Year 2230~
~Daciana~

Daciana walked inside her house as she shuffled the mail.

"Hey, how was work, love?" Mitch asked. Daciana sighed before laying her head on his shoulder. "That bad?" Mitch softly asked as he rubbed her back.

"No, it was okay. I'm just tired." Daciana mumbled before holding up Mitch's mail, moved away from him, and sat at the dining table. Mitch frowned before he walked behind Daciana and kissed the top of her head.

"Want me to run you a bath?"

"No."

"You want a cuppa tea?" Mitch asked and Daciana shook her head.

"No, I wanna hug our son." Mitch couldn't stop the grin that formed when she said 'Our son'.

"Well, I'm sorry, but he's with Catina, remember?"

"I know." Daciana sighed.

"We can go visit them real quick."

"No, if we do that he'll wanna come home and Catina's been very excited about this since he got old enough to spend time without us."

"Can I help you in any way?"

"I don't know." Daciana shrugged and Mitch frowned.

"You want me to hold you?"

"No, maybe... I don't know." Daciana sighed as she opened her mail.

"Want me to rub your back?" Mitch asked as he knelt next to her.

"I don't know. I just feel off... I'll be fine." Daciana sighed as she opened her last letter. "I'm gonna take a nap."

"Do you need anything before that?" Mitch asked and Daciana shook her head.

"No, Sti. I'm okay." Mitch stared at Daciana, surprised, as she retreated into their bedroom.

"She needs snuggles," Mitch mumbled before throwing his unopened mail on the table and walking to their bedroom.

"What?" Daciana asked as she lay in bed.

"Nothing, I'm forcing snuggles upon you," Mitch answered as he climbed into bed and wrapped his arms around Daciana. "I'm gonna need you to take a pregnancy test after our nap."

"Why?" Daciana mumbled as she closed her eyes.

"You're sluggish, tired all the time, and just want to cuddle our son," Mitch answered and Daciana let out a hum before nodding.

"Okay."

Daciana walked into her bedroom, where Mitch was anxiously waiting for her.

"And?" He asked and a massive grin formed on Daciana's face. "No." Mitch denied as he started to grin. "Really?" Mitch asked and Daciana nodded. Mitch grinned before rushing at her and picked her up into a hug. Daciana hugged him as Mitch felt tears run down his face. After a few minutes, Mitch put Daciana down and kissed her. "We're having another baby," Mitch whispered before kissing Daciana's forehead and pulling her into another hug. "Let's go to the courthouse."
