Quackity groaned in his bed.
The buzzing from the phone vibrated the whole mattress,it was loud too.
Quackity was already annoyed out of his mind.
He felt around the very dark messy bed to find his phone.
He eventually got his hands on it,Quackity squinted at the bright screen,he definitely couldn't go back to sleep after this for a while.
He groaned as he saw Karl's blurry text messages still popping up.

He let his hand fall back on his bed and closed his eyes,trying to go back to sleep.
Karl kept on texting,vibration after vibration.
Quackity wanted to cry from annoyance,like when your mom wakes you up for school when you were sleeping really good.
He picked up the phone and turned down the brightness before clicking on Karl's message.
Karl begging to come over at not even one in the morning.

K:
I'm downstairs can you open up?

Quackity looked at his phone confused before he heard his doorbell ring,well this was very creepy.

Quackity looked at his room door as he heard the front door being opened,this was kinda scary,it was so dark..
He stared at the pitch black hallway as he heard steps on the stairwell.
"Hey Quackity.."
He heard hopefully Karl say as he entered the room.
Quackity:"Karl?"
He was dripping wet,must've been raining while he was asleep,it still was.
Karl just stood there before he crawled into the bed with Quackity.

He laid down next to him,facing the celling.
Quackity:"Are you okay?"
Quackity groaned,his eyes still half closed.
Karl:"yeah.."
he said quietly.
Quackity:"why are you here?..."
Karl:"just wanted to see you..and I was cold.."
Quackity:"you drove here for 25 minutes cause you were...cold..?"
Karl:"I dunno.."
Quackity:"Karl im gonna ask you again,are you okay?"
Karl turned to him.

Quackity:"because,you come over to my house at not even one in the morning,your soaking my bed sheets and...I don't really see how this makes sense..."
Karl looked down before cuddling himself into Quackity.
He gripped his sweater as he dug his head into his chest.
Quackity sighed and covered him with his blanket before he wrapped his arms around him.
This was weird,Karl's been tired lately,but not like this,he was just his usual cheerful self,I guess this was his breaking point or something.

Quackity lightly stroked Karl's hair.
Karl started quietly sobbing,it was concerning to say the least,but still.
Quackity:"you wanna tell me what's wrong,
Karl?"
Karl covered his face with his hands,Quackity held him tighter.
Karl:"I don't- know.."
He sniffed.
Quackity looked down at him worried.
Quackity:"it'll be fine...your okay.."
Karl continued to sob,Quackity started to feel his tears go through his shirt.

Quackity:"...you wanna hear a joke?"
Karl nodded,he was to embarrassed to talk.
Quackity:"alright..knock knock!"
Karl:"w-who's there.."
Quackity:"a broken pencil"
Karl:"a b-broken pencil who?"
Quackity:"nevermind,it's pointless"
Karl laughed.
Karl:"stupid.."
Quackity:"not funny? Alright,knock knock"
Karl:"who's there?"
Quackity:"hatch"

Karl:"hatch who?"
Quackity laughed before he even finished the joke.
Quackity:"bless you!"
Karl laughed too,it was to stupid not to laugh at.
Karl:"your so corny..."
He said wiping his tears.
Quackity:"yeah..I know.."
Quackity looked down at Karl,Karl looked back at him.
He lightly played with his hair before he kissed his forehead.
