"I'm going to the bathroom, I'll see you in a while," I say to Evelynn and leave her in a group of guys we found two shots of tequila ago. They all seem nice and as I'm leaving I give them a look that tells them to take care of her or deal with the consequences.

Tequila definitely makes my head spin and not in a pretty way. I'm slowly starting to think that maybe we should've just stuck with vodka or order the cocktails we were talking about.

After finding the bathroom and spying that Evelynn is okay, I decide to get some air in the club's big balcony. It's a very open space and a lot more quiet than the inside of the club, so a lot of people are there socialising with each other.

Normally I wouldn't leave my friend alone, but she was having the time of her life on the dancefloor so I couldn't drag her outside with me just because I couldn't handle a little tequila.

My peace is disturbed almost as soon as I find a spot to lean on against the railing by some random guy who is definitely way too drunk to remember anything tomorrow. He looks at me like I'm his dessert and starts making his way to me.

"Nope, definitely not tonight" I decide and start making my way back inside. Unfortunately my brain does not keep up with my limbs.

One thing I did not think about was the tequila in my blood. In case you didn't know alcohol does not make Madeline Mount any less clumsier than usual, quite the opposite.

I manage to slam my face straight into some guys' upper backs as I'm trying to get back inside. Wow, what a way to go Madeline, your family, friends and the sober you would be so proud of you.
