"Guys come on! Won't you get your own room, por el amor de dios!" I hear a voice whine in the room. Me and Pedri both turn around and see Gavi acting like a little kid who saw his parents kiss."Ay tío, will you calm down. First of all, this is our room and second of all you better be happy that you didn't come 30 minutes ago. If you think us just kissing here is bad, you would have been traumatised what was going on before," Pedri says and gives me a wicked smile.
"Oh don't traumatise the poor kid," I swat him and give an apologising smile to Gavi. I mean I'm only a few months older than him so I can't really call him a kid, but he just seems so cute and innocent. Just like Evelynn.
"Ay too much information, please can I just go to sleep? I'm wrecked after my perfect date with the perfect girl," Gavi continues and throws my shirt at me.
"Okay okay, I got it. I'm leaving, no need to get all hot and bothered," I say and put the rest of my clothes on.
"Bye guapo, see you tomorrow," I give Pedri a little wink and hurry to hear all the gossip Evelynn has to tell me.
–
"And then we went for a swim and it was the most romantic thing I've ever experienced!" Evelynn blushes while telling me how the date went, not leaving a single detail untold. She looks so happy and I hope nothing will ruin that.
"Your little angry bird threw me out of his and Pedri's room. I think he needed to get his beauty sleep after your date and he wasn't too happy that I was there," I laugh and she just swats at me.
"Oh Maddy stop, don't call him that! And yes our date was so intense that I also feel drained. I'm in a definite need of a good beauty sleep for tomorrow," Evelynn says and yawns. I turn off her lights and wish her good night. She just smiles at me like a girl in love, which I think she is. I don't know if she's realised this, but she's definitely falling for Gavi.

I wake up at seven to my phone going off. Several messages and news have invaded the screen of my phone. I open my phone to read what all of this is about and a couple kissing on a beach pops up on my screen. My brain takes a few seconds to notice that the boy in the picture is actually Gavi. "Gavi is dating another girl?!" I think immediately before taking a closer look at the picture. To my relief and horror I realise that the picture is of Evelynn and Gavi on their date yesterday.
I run to Evelynn's room and try to wake her up. "Evelynn, you should see this right now," I try to shake her to get up faster.
She reads the article meanwhile I try not to have a hissy fit or kill anyone. I feel furious that some paparazzi decided to film them while they were having a good time. Privacy doesn't seem to be a thing in these circles. I mean Mason has to deal with paparazzis as well but they don't follow him all the time.
While I comfort Evelynn, someone knocks on the door. I truly hope it's not someone trying to snoop around about this gossip. I run to the door and see Mason standing there. "Girls, can I come in?" He asks and I let him pass.
Mason joins our group hug and promises to help us solve this mess. I'm happy that he's here for Evelynn. Evelynn doesn't have any siblings and when we became friends, Mason took her as his little sister. As annoying as Mason can be, he's the best brother in the whole world. I love seeing how close he and Evelynn actually are and having him now is important for Evelynn.
We decide to go and have breakfast before figuring out what to do. I'm trying to hold myself together and not start raging at people, but I can feel my inner chihuahua coming alive. I would call it my inner demon, but once when we were younger a girl told Evelynn that she was s weird and I completely lost it. Ever since then Evelynn has called me a raging chihuahua. What can I say? I'm loyal to those around me and no one messes with my loved ones.
When we get to the lobby, I can see that the breakfast hall is packed with people and I can already guess how they will react as we get inside.
"I think you should wait here and we'll grab us some breakfast?" I suggest to Evelynn to which she just nods. Mason gives her a quick hug for support and we basically run to get something to eat.
The scene in front of us, as we get back, is enough to make me finally lose it and my bitch-flip definitely turns on.
