"Perdóname I didn't see you" I apologise looking at the back that has now become the front of the guy I ran into, which at least looks very firm and well trained. Tequila, I'm never ever drinking you again. And that is a promise I don't make lightly.
"Don't worry about it, hermosa" the guy says and gives me a lazy smile.
I can't help but stare at his face. It's simply one of the most attractive ones I've ever seen. And that is a lot, coming from a girl who has the biggest celebrity crush on Carlos Sainz, a Ferrari F1 driver.
This guy in front of me looks like a puppy and a hot criminal at the same time. Which might not make sense to you, but in my head it sounds perfectly sane. He has dark hair and his eyes are gorgeous brown. He's wearing a white button up shirt that is buttoned only half way, so I can have a good look at his chest, and blue jeans. He could easily be mistaken for an angel.
A thought pops into my head randomly, "He's only a bit taller than me, so kissing those plump lips would be very easy." I'm starting to think that my brain has lost all rational thoughts and replaced them with quotes from my favourite romance novels.
When I just keep staring at him, my mouth probably hanging wide open, he asks me if I'm okay.
"I mean am I? Because I really don't know now that I've met you" I say without thinking and the guy bursts out laughing. It seems like I can only make a fool of myself tonight, great.
"Okay let's get you some water and find a nice spot for you to sit down" he insists and leads me towards a lonely sofa in the furthest corner of the balcony. He lets his hand rest on my lower back to guide me, which I don't mind at all. And that is not the tequila talking I can assure you.
He helps me sit down on the sofa and asks his friend, whom I didn't notice before, to bring us some water. His friend is also cute, but looks a bit too young for me with his cute puppy eyes. Because with or without the alcohol, I tend to be drawn towards guys that are a few years older than me. Daddy issues, I guess?
I drink the whole glass of water that appears in my hand and close my eyes for a second. How on earth did I manage to make such a fool of myself right in front of possibly the hottest guy I've ever seen. He must think that I'm some crazy tourist who can't handle a bit of alcohol.
I mean it's not too far from the truth, but I would at least like to maintain some self respect.
