The following day we get lunch together with Evelynn in a cute cafe next to the hotel. We both order bruschetta with tomato and pesto and lemon water for drinks.
We discuss her feelings towards Gavi and I tell her lies about me and Pedri. Sounds harsh, but I have to make up a story of how we've been seeing each other during this week and how I'm crushing on him hard. I mean at least I'm not lying about our chemistry or his good looks, just about how we met. I'll have to fill Pedri in, so that he sticks to the story when talking to Gavi. I'm not very excited about seeing him again, I fear it's going to be extremely awkward.
Evelynn tries to hide her texting under the table with Gavi, but it's way too obvious. They're acting like two school kids in love trying to hide it from everyone.
"You two should go on an official date!" I point out to which she just blushes.
"I don't think he likes me like that," She tries to argue.
"Girl! He almost kissed you last night! He obviously likes you," I yell at her. How can she be so blind?
"We should go on a double date. All four of us, so you won't feel embarrassed and if he doesn't like you like that, which I doubt, it's not too embarrassing and I'm there to slap him." Somehow my brain comes with the shittiest idea for me, but the best for her. I just want her to see that this man is clearly after her.
Evelynn gets all excited and starts planning where we should go and what we should wear. I try to pretend that I'm all giddy and excited as well, but I'm freaking out on the inside. The last thing I want to do is pretend that I have romantic feelings towards a guy whom I hate.

As we get back to the hotel I make my way towards Pedri's room. I need to fill him in on the story and prepare him for our so-called date. I knock on the door impatiently, because to be frank, I want to get this over as soon as possible.
"Come on, won't you open the door already, estúpido," I huff under my breath.
"They're not back yet, their training is ending in fifteen minutes though," a strange voice says behind me.
I turn around only to find some oddly familiar looking man standing on the opposite side of the corridor. He looks at least a few years older than me with short brown hair and dark eyes. I just stare at him with a questioning look.
"Oh I'm sorry, my name is Fernando. I'm a brother of the guy whose door you're trying to tear down," He smiles and runs a hand through his hair. The movement is all too familiar and I can already guess whose brother he is.
"Oh hi, encantada. I'm Madeline and I think I have the wrong door, so excuse me," I say and basically run away. I don't want to meet his family, why is the universe making my life so hard?

Evelynn left to take some videos and pictures of Mason and the team while they are training. She's really loving this photographing thing and I'm so proud of her for pursuing her newly found passion.
My peace is disturbed once again by a loud knocking on the door. I can only assume who is basically trying to break the door down.
"You know you can't just show up behind my door every time you're in need of a make out or -" I start but I'm quickly silenced.
"Why did you talk to my brother? And what is this double date that Gavi is going on about?" He asks, crossing his arms and looking very angry.
"Wow, ay cálmate cabrón. First of all, I didn't exactly talk to your brother. He was there when I came by your room to tell you about this double date." I state, rolling my eyes at him.
"And the point of this double date is to get our two friends to realise that they're into each other. So please, the next time you want to accuse me of something, ask nicely first," I stay and give him the eye. No one talks to me like that.
I fill him in on the details that I told Evelynn, how we met and that kind of stuff. He just shrugs and we decide that we can make up something on the date. We plan the date for tomorrow, just a nice dinner because we all have a free day.
Great, now I'll just have to tolerate him for a few hours and convince our friends that we're into each other. Surely nothing can go wrong, right?
