"Honey, I'm home!" Evelynn screams and jumps on my bed. It must be early in the morning since she's arrived. I can't recall what time I went to sleep last night after celebrating Carlos Sainz's win. Which btw was epic for me, his biggest fan. Well maybe not the biggest, but a very passionate one.

"Girl let me sleep," I moan and put my pillow over my head to muff out the sounds. Evelynn only rips my duvet away from me and swats me with another pillow.

"We need to start getting ready and grab something to eat. It's already nine o'clock, I have no idea how you forgot to put your alarm on," She says and opens the blinds to reveal the sun that's already up and shining. No rest for the wicked it seems.

During breakfast Evelynn tells me about her long flight and how she spent it sleeping and watching films, while I stuff my mouth full of fruits, croissants and coffee. I don't look graceful when I eat, okay?

"Then there was this good looking guy sitting a few rows behind me, he was just your type. I should've snapped a photo of him so you'd know what you missed out on," Evelynn continues to what I only just nod. I'm too busy eating to answer her.

After eating and dressing up for the game, we decided to take a quick stroll through the mall in the centre and then a taxi to the stadium. I'm really grateful that we didn't take the metro, seeing as many others are walking towards the stadium. Mason and the team left earlier to warm up and get everything ready for the match, so it's just the two of us.

We find our seats on the first row and as my brother sees we've arrived he starts jogging towards us.

"The inseparable twins are back! Now I need to go over a few rules with you. Just make sure you don't run to the court no matter what happens during the game-" he starts before I shush him.

"Mason! We're not five-year-olds. We know we aren't allowed to do that," I moan, he still seems to think that we don't know what to do and what not to do.

"Yes I know but this is the World Cup so I have to make sure," Mason looks at us sheepishly.

"Now go on, you have a match to win," I tell him and give him a small thumbs up.

My brother returns to do his warm up with his team and me and Evelynn continue our little chit chat about all the good looking players I've already seen.

The match starts and the stadium is packed full of people. There are quite a lot of Spain's supporters, definitely more than I expected. Plus they are very loud so we need to cheer extra hard.

Mason plays really well and almost scores a goal, but Jude is the one who actually manages to bring it home. Me and Evelynn cheer like crazy and even do a little silly dance.

Halftime begins and the game is a tie. After Jude's goal Spain managed to score from a penalty kick. As the players are leaving for their locker rooms my body freezes and my breath catches in my throat.

"My ghost is haunting me once again behind the grave," I think before actually realising that I'm not hallucinating.

I make eye contact with one of the Spanish players and recognition sparks in his eyes. Oh how do I wish the earth would swallow me now.
