We get to the hotel by a team bus, without the rest of the team making any comments about me. They probably don't recognise me, because I tend to avoid the paparazzis and the whole media side of Mason's career.

Pedri and I grab some dinner to bring to our room from the hotel's restaurant. We decided earlier that we're going to eat in his room and watch a film or something. Just to spend time and get to know each other better. We grab some chicken and rice with vegetables and the hotel staff packs them in carton boxes for us.

Gavi is just standing in the middle of the room when we get there. He looks at us and smiles like an idiot, Evelynn definitely messed up with his head.

"Are you okay?" I ask him while Pedri just laughs.

"Sí, todo bien. Couldn't be better. We just won a match and I got a breathtaking kiss from the most beautiful girl," He continues blabbering on while I burst out laughing.

"Well sorry to burst your bubble, but we're kicking you out. Ansu said that you can go to his room, he has something to chat with you," Pedri says and pats Gavis back. They are so cute, such besties like me and Evelynn. Although I do feel a bit bad about kicking him out of his own room and stealing his bestie. But it's okay to be a bit selfish sometimes.

Gavi grabs some of his stuff and leaves us alone. We go sit on Pedri's bed and he turns on his laptop. We decide to watch 'How to lose a guy in ten days' because it's one of my favourite films. We eat our dinner in total silence, both focusing on the film. Well, I'm mostly focusing on him and his reactions, but who's counting.

"You want a picture of me? It'll last longer, cielito," He turns to me and flashes a lazy smile. I feel heat crawling to my cheeks as I blush and turn my attention back to the film.

"Your face was just looking stupid, don't be so egoistic," I laugh and try to cover for myself.

Pedri takes his and my empty carton box away from me and sets them on the bedside table. "Hey, I wasn't finished-" I begin arguing but he tackles me to the bed before I have a chance to finish my sentence.

"Oh chiqui, you're finished now," He says and crawls on top of me. He starts tickling me while I'm just laughing and trying to get him to stop. He grabs both of my hands to avoid being hit by me and puts them above my head.

"My face does not look stupid" He says with a stern look and turns his sight to my lips. Oh how I wish to kiss his stupid face right now.

"Yupp it does. Maybe you should bring your face closer so that I can see better," I suggest not showing him how much I yearn to kiss him.

He brings his face so close to mine that our lips are merely inches apart and whispers "You still think my face looks stupid?" I don't bother replying. I bring my lips to his and give him a kiss that tells him how stupid I find his face.

His hands sneak up under my shirt, or actually it's his shirt, and a small groan escapes his lips. "Why did you have to vex me chiqui? You're like a little bruja who put a spell on me," He whispers into my skin while continuing moving his hands up. He settles a little lower and his lips start following the path his hands left on my skin. I pull his shirt over his head to get a good look at that firm chest I ran into a few months ago. He starts lifting my shirt but a knock on the door makes us both jump away from each other.

Without bothering to put his shirt back on, Pedri goes to the door and opens it while I stay in bed.

"Finalmente Pepi. The last time I came by your door you didn't answer. So I thought you were avoiding me or something." A male voice says and I hear footsteps coming into the room before Pedri has the chance to stop him.

"Anyways, we're all proud of you. Very good game today! Oh is Gavi here, I have to congrat-" The man continues before stopping abruptly. He notices me on the bed and blinks a few times.

"You're not Gavi... Pepi, ¿qué está pasando?" He looks at me and turns to Pedri, who is currently rubbing the back of his neck looking like a child who got caught red handed.

"Why is there a woman in your room? Where is your shirt and... Wait, is she wearing your shirt?" he goes on pointing at the shirt I have on, asking all these questions while Pedri just stares at me. They both look at me like I'm the answer to their questions.

"Hi... I'm Madeline. I think we've met before, in the corridor right? I'm assuming you're Pedri's brother?" I flash him a sweet but unsure smile.

"Oh yes, now I remember! You're the mystery woman from the corridor. Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Fernando," He says and offers his hand to me.

Before I have the chance to shake it Pedri starts pushing his brother out of the room. I just stare at them in confusion from the bed.

"Hey, are you not going to let me talk to your new girlfriend? That's not fair!" Fernando shouts.

"Not my girlfriend and none of your business," Pedri replies and closes the door in front of his brother's face.

Okay... So he doesn't consider me his girlfriend. I mean, I knew it. He said multiple times that he doesn't want to date. But the sudden realisation still stings.

"Sorry about that," he says and returns to the bed with me. We stay there for an hour just talking and kissing. But I can't get the 'Not my girlfriend' out of my head, it continues to dwell in my thoughts as I return to my room later and try to fall asleep.

What happened in Barcelona still haunts me, I think it's making me wary and confused. We haven't talked about it and I'm not sure I want to. I can't fully trust him, and I don't know if I ever will.

I don't even know what we are doing. We're fooling around with each other, and that's exactly what this is. Me making a fool of myself. I know he doesn't want a relationship, he made that perfectly clear to me when we actually started hanging out. So I do know what he's doing. But I have no idea what I'm doing.
