Mason picked a nice local restaurant that's only a few minutes drive away. It has a nice terrace that overlooks the beach, it's lively yet we can dine in peace without paparazzi or fans. The boys decided to stick with casual sweatshirts and jeans, meanwhile me and Evelynn went all out. We're wearing short black matching dresses paired with white Nike runners. Not too fancy, but enough to get Evelynn out of her pyjamas she's lived in for the past couple of days.
We're all sitting at one table, Mason in front of Evelynn and Jack in front of me. We're all in the middle of talking when our food arrives. We made an exception tonight with Evelynn and decided to order wine with our food. I mean the World Cup is almost over so we can treat ourselves a bit.
"The inseparable twins are back with the inseparable outfits!" Jack bursts out laughing when he finally figures that we're wearing matching dresses. Mason makes a comment about Jack being dumb while me and Evelynn get up and do a little twirl for them, showing off our outfits.
"Okay but now I need you two to 'spill the tea' as Jude would say. What's up with you and this Spanish boy, Evelynn?" Jack asks and gives Evelynn an all-knowing look that makes her blush.
Before I have the chance to lecture Jack how rude it is to stick your nose into someone else's business, Mason kicks my leg under the table. It seems like my dear brother wants to know as well.
"You mean Gavi and me? Well I don't know what to tell you. I mean nothing's official but I really like him and I think he feels the same way. At least I hope so," she admits and both Mason and Jack just grin at her.
"Oh come on Evelynn, you know he's into you! Have you seen the way he looks at you especially when you're not looking," I tell her and give her shoulder a little shove. She just blushes even more and whispers something under her breath
"Seems like you pay a lot of attention Maddy," Mason squints his eyes slightly at my comment as if to tell me that he knows I'm hiding something. He's been acting suspicious for a while now, almost obsessed with the idea that I'm seeing someone behind his back. I'm not saying he's not right but he shouldn't be so nosy about my life.
"Yeah Mads, are you seeing anyone? Since you two are inseparable twins I can't imagine Evelynn dating someone and you just spending all your time alone?" Grealish grins at me and makes Mason cough loudly.
"Oh come on Mase, she's not a child anymore and I'm sure she learned not to date blokes like her ex boyfriend, have a little faith in her," he continues and gives me a wink to indicate that he has my back. Jack has no idea about my current situation with Pedri but I still thank him for having my back.
"Stop it, the both of you. Mason I'm 18 and one day I will have a boyfriend whether you like it or not and there's nothing, absolutely nothing, you can do about it. And Jack don't be so nosy. I can spend time alone as well, it's not like me and Evelynn are joined by the hip," I give them both a tight look while Evelynn just sips her wine enjoying our little drama, as she should.
The rest of the dinner goes smoothly and Mason doesn't dare to act like an overprotective ass again. He knows I'm not in the mood for that.

After eating we decide to take a little stroll down the beach since it's only seven o'clock and we are in no hurry to get back to the hotel. The semi finals are tomorrow and this way the boys can relax even for a few hours before getting back to their playing mindset.
The evening is quite cold and me and Evelynn are only wearing strap dresses so the boys make us wear their sweaters. Jack gives me his and Mason wraps his one around Evelynn. Both of them have t-shirts under and regarding to their own words they won't get cold.
Evelynn is deep in conversation with Mason, leaving me and Jack behind them. Jack walks right next to me telling me about how the internet is now obsessed with his massive calves. I mean they are right, his calves are massive. Mason and I used to tease him about only doing leg days in the gym, but now the rest of the world seems to agree with us.
"Mads I need to ask you something and I need you to be honest with me," he suddenly blurts out.
"Sure, what is it?" I raise my eyebrows lightly at his sudden need to know something.
He bites his lower lip as if he's nervous. "Is there something going on with you and one of the Spanish players? Don't even think about avoiding the question. I have a pair of eyes, I saw how he wanted to kill me earlier today when I was with you," He looks at me straight in the eye indicating that he's not joking.
"And I'm not going to say anything to Mase, I know how overprotective he can be, which is fair but I know you don't like it," he adds and gives me a genuine smile. I appreciate him for having my back even though he is firstly my brother's friend and a teammate.
I look at Mason to make sure he's not listening, because he would send me home after hearing what I'm about to confess.
"I mean it's nothing official, but I do really like him. Like really. In a way I haven't liked someone in ages," I admit and give him an unsure smile. He just grins at me and gives my shoulder a little push.
"I knew it! But I'm happy for you and I'm sure when you decide to tell your brother he'll be okay with it. He has to," Jack grins at me like a little kid.
"Just please don't make a fuss about it," I whine as he wraps his arms around me from excitement. Jack promises to guard my secret safely and we catch up with Mason and Evelynn.

Mason and Evelynn decided to head for their rooms while me and Jack still wanted to grab some much needed coffee and tea. When we got back to the hotel, we were all shivering from the cold. Thankfully our very fancy hotel has a bar that's open 24/7.
We're deep in conversation, waiting for an elevator, when my eyes catch a certain someone sending daggers into our direction. The Spanish team is probably coming back from their training since they're walking from the front doors to our direction.
Pedri is with Gavi and Eric, the two latter ones oblivious to their friend trying to murder me and Jack with his look. His eyes keep darting, not only between me and Jack once again, but also between my face and the hoodie that I'm wearing. It's obvious that because of the size of the hoodie it cannot be mine. Also Jack standing beside me with only a t-shirt even though it's cold outside, is a clear indication that it belongs to him.
When Jack notices Pedri's stare he doesn't step away from me but does quite the opposite. He puts one of his hands on my shoulder and gives Pedri a smirk before whispering into my ear. "I see your man is not looking too happy. Should I make him jealous?" He asks me while smirking.
Pedri looks like he is about to explode any given moment while he keeps walking towards us with his friends who still haven't noticed us. I scold Jack and give him a friendly push and he can't help but laugh.
The elevator arrives just in time and Pedri and the other Spaniards stay and wait for the rest of the team. When we walk past Pedri to step into the elevator I pull the neckline of the hoodie down a bit and flash one of the love bites I didn't hide at Pedri. His eyes widen at the sight and he licks his lips, clearly remembering who left those marks there earlier. It's a little reminder for him not to be too jealous and to not forget what he means to me.
I give him a wink and a small smile before me and Jack disappear into the elevator. He grins back at me, clearly forgetting Jack who's right next to me looking at us and trying not to laugh.
Jack bursts out laughing as the doors close and starts making fun of my little jealous Spaniard. I didn't know Pedri was the type to get so jealous so easily, but now it's clear as ever. I have to say, I do find it a bit amusing and teasing him has become my favourite pastime activity.
