Evelynn leaves for the hotel earlier while I decide to wait for the players. I think she's tired from her flights and shocked because she also saw her guy from the club. What a freaking coincidence that those two are friends and both play for Spain's national team. Now the universe is playing tricks on both of us.

I stand in the corridor that leads to the locker rooms and wait for Mason and the boys. There's no one else there, which is quite suspicious since usually the behind the scenes of matches are very busy.

"So you're here rooting for your boyfriend or what?" A familiar voice startles me from behind.

I turn around and see the devil himself looking at me as he's leaning against a wall. His hair is wet from a shower and he's wearing tracksuit bottoms and a hoodie, both with logos and colours of Spain's national football team. I get flashbacks from our date when his hair was as soaked as it's now.

"Well if I am, it's none of your business. And I can't see why it should nor would bother you," I cross my hands and roll my eyes. How dare he question why I'm here, he has no right to even talk to me after what he did.

I turn my back to him again and try to focus on anything else except his presence behind me. It's like my body knows how close he is and how easy it would be to taste those lips again. Call me a masochist, but this guy's got some weird electric aura around him.

"So you're stalking me now, wow thanks. I'm honoured," he adds and laughs lightly. Great, now he finds this situation amusing.

I just give him the middle finger and make my way towards the locker rooms where the players are starting to come out from. I see Jude and link my arm with his. He looks at me a bit confused but keeps walking to the bus with me.

I leave Pedri behind just like that. As I glance back at him, I can see him squinting his eyes at me. I decide to give him a quick wink before turning away again. Let him think that I'm dating Jude, I couldn't care less.

This is what you lost buddy, sucks to be you I guess.
