Months have passed by since our trip to Barcelona and I have recovered to my own self again. I still think about the hottie, whose name I don't say out loud, especially during those long hours when I can't fall asleep.

He sometimes haunts me like a ghost. It's stupid really, but I really liked him. Liked as in the past tense, if I were to see him again I'd probably punch his beautiful face. No one plays with my heart without any consequences.

Mason definitely knew something was not right when I came back from our trip. He could see my eyes were puffy after taking showers and my mood was overall beaten. To my relief he didn't mention anything.

But that's in the past. And what's done is done, no need to dwell on it.

The World Cup is starting tomorrow and me and Evelynn are joining the team to support our country. I was really in a desperate need for vacation after all the paperwork I had to do inorder to apply to the University in Barcelona after Christmas.

Now we have hopefully a long vacation ahead of us rooting for our boys and enjoying some football. We were so proud of Mason and his team for making it to the World Cup. They've all worked so hard and totally deserve to be there.

"And don't forget to pack something warm for the evenings, it can get pretty cold pretty quickly," Mason reminds me while writing a list for me for the third time.

"Do you ever get deja vu? You're always telling me the same things before I even leave the house," I complain and stick my tongue out for him.

"I know, but I just want to make sure you'll be okay," Mason says and gives me a hug. That's my big brother, a human version of a teddy bear.

"You know I'll always be okay, no matter what," I give him a small smile and squeeze my arms around him.

"You know that you can always talk to me, I'm your big brother and I'm here for you. And if you ever feel like you want to talk about what happened in Barcelona, I won't judge you. Even if you murdered someone and the police are looking for you," Mason says and gives me a tight smile.

"I know, but you don't have to worry about me all the time," I say and give him another genuine hug.

"Now let's go and say bye to mum and dad, they're expecting us for a departing dinner," Mason says and pats me in the back.
