The next day I decide to have breakfast with Mason, Jude and Jack while Evelynn is still asleep in our room. The boys stick to their diet while I stuff my plate full with berries, fruits, croissants and pancakes. Jack sits next to me while Jude and Mason are on the other side of the table.

"So boys, what's the plan for today?" I ask them as we start eating our breakfast. I decided last night that I'm going to follow the boys today since I don't have anything better to do. Lando's busy doing some promo stuff for his brand and Evelynn just wants to stay in the room.

"Well, little Mount, we have morning practice in about an hour, after that we come back and have a team meeting and then we'll have lunch. In the afternoon we have another training session and after that I have no idea what our coach has planned for us," Jude shrugs and stuffs his mouth full of some kind of porridge.

"Are you thinking of joining us for the day?" Mason asks and gives me a hopeful look. I feel terrible about not spending time with him lately. I know he likes having me around and I love watching them all play and have fun together.

"I think so. Evelynn's pretty much just staying in her room, thanks to your pr-team and I've had enough of just laying by the pool all day," I tell them and they all just look at each other.

"What? Why are you all acting so weird?" I begin questioning them. They seem to be having a conversation without any words.

"Well, we were wondering if you know by any chance-" Mason starts but Jack quickly cuts in.

"So Evelynn's dating this Spaniard? Are they for real and when did this manage to happen? That's what we've all been wondering but no one has the guts to ask," He admits and Mason and Jude look at me with a guilty smile.

"Why are you asking me? Shouldn't you be questioning Evelynn and not me?" I give them an annoyed look. Boys always go on about girls being nosy and loving gossip but they're even worse.

"Oh Mads come on you're her bestie, of course you know the tea. So come on, spill some," Jude rolls his eyes and gives me an unsatisfied look. They all seem to be determined to know Evelynn's business with Gavi.

"Well I don't know what you want me to tell you, because I'm almost as clueless as you are. Yes, they are going out, but no I have no idea if they're a couple or just having some fun together. And that is none of my business and neither is it yours," I cross my arms and squint my eyes at them.

All three of them look like guilty children whose mum just lectured them about something they did. As they should. I'm about to add how rude it is to gossip behind someone's back when I hear my name called across the breakfast hall.

"Hey Madeline! How's it going, bonita?" Ferran shouts at me from a few tables away. He bursts out laughing when the boys just stare at him with their mouths hanging open. I give him an awkward smile and try to not laugh as I see Pedri frowning next to him. He gives Ferran a light punch and they start bickering like little kids.

When I turn back towards the three boys, all of them are staring at me with their eyes almost popping out of their sockets. "What?" I ask them and shrug.

"How does Ferran Torres know your name and why is he talking to you?" Mason starts innocently and Jude just gives me an all knowing look. Jack is laughing his ass off next to me and Mason just looks horrified.

"I knew you had something going on with the Spaniards as well, call it an instinct!" Jude celebrates but I just give him a small slap on the head.

"No, it's not what you think! Ferran has a girlfriend, he's just trying to be funny. We met yesterday in the lobby and exchanged like two words," I try to explain to them but they don't look convinced at all.

"And by the way, I'm 18 and not a little kid anymore, so if I wanted to I could have something going on with one of them and you couldn't do anything to stop me. So stop acting like I'm some little girl," I give them a little rant.

"Mads, just shut up. I don't want to think about you having anything going on with any of the Spanish players. I've lost my appetite thanks to you assholes, so can we just go already?" Mason whines which makes the two other boys only laugh harder.

Oh god, is this what I signed up for when I decided to spend a day with them?

We have to take the team bus to get to the place where the team has their practice. As usual, the boys make me their DJ and I have the responsibility to get them hyped up for their practice. I'm used to it and I already know what makes the English lads go crazy.

While the boys train under the hot Qatari sun, I try to watch them until giving up and continuing my romance book. They're all very serious today, which is good but also boring to watch. So I take matters into my own hands and entertain myself with my book.

My interest in the book doesn't last for too long until I start daydreaming about one particular Spaniard. I don't know what has gotten into me, but he's on my mind 24/7 nowadays. It's alarming since I've never gotten this attached to a guy, but Pedri is just different. My daydreaming is interrupted by something hard dropping from the sky and hitting my head.

I turn my attention to the boys who are all laughing and looking at me. I see a ball bouncing a few metres away from me, so that must be what hit me. Jack and Jude are basically rolling on the ground and their faces are bright red from laughing. Declan Rice and Mason are looking guilty as they snicker together.

I give them a death stare before abandoning my book on the ground and sprinting towards the two criminals who dared to disturb my peace. Declan and Mase have been friends since secondary school, so I basically grew up with him. Like Jude, Jack and Lando, Declan's like my other big brother. Although I'm not as close with him as I am with Jude and Jack.

"Which of you twats was it?!" I scream as I try to catch them. They are both dying of laughter as they flee from me. I'm not stopping until I slap some sense into each one of them.

"It was Mase, I swear Mads, please don't hit me," Declan pleads as I catch him. I'm not fast or athletic, so he must be exhausted from all the laughing.

"I know you convinced him to do it, so don't even try!" I scream as I try to tackle him to the ground. By now, the whole team has gathered around us to see what on earth is going on.

"Okay little Mount, time to go sulk back into the corner. You can't injure one of our players a day before the semifinal," Jack says and picks me up from on top of Declan. He lifts me to his shoulder and starts carrying me back to where I was reading.

Declan just grins at me from the ground and Mason helps him get up. The rest of the team is just laughing at the sight of Jack carrying me on his shoulder. "Okay the show's over, go back to doing your boring things," I announce when they all just keep looking at me.

These boys should stop harassing me and focus on football. But secretly I love the relationship I have with each and one of them.
