They were first cousins through their fathers, Lord Jerome Alexander Howard, Earl of Moray Territory on Star Base 10 and Lord Andrew Charles Howard V, Duke of Lancaster Territory and Duke of Norfolk Territory on Star Base 12 and both were the sons of Lord Andrew Charles Howard IV and Lady Josephine Isabella Stuart, the daughter of Lord Jerome Alexander Stuart and Lady Florence Clara Craven, the Earl and Countess of Moray Territory on Star Base 10.
Lady Athena Isabella Howard was born in 2390 and Lady Florence Clara Howard was born in 2395 and they lived on separated Star Bases within the United Federation of Planets and they were both the great-great-great-great-great-great-great-granddaughters of Lord Patrick William Howard through his son, Lord Frederick William Howard, and through two of his sons, Lord Frederick William II and Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR and their sons, Lord Frederick William Howard III, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, Lord Frederick William Howard IV, Lord Richard Edward Howard Senior and their children, Lord Andrew Charles, Lord Richard Edward II and their children, Lady Elizabeth, Lord Richard Edward III, Lord Anthony Christopher and Lad Alexandrina Charlene Stuart and their children, Lord Alexander Andrew, Lord Andrew Charles II and Lady Karissa Ann and with the marriage of Lady Karissa Ann to Lord Frederick William Howard IV and the marriage of Lord Andrew Charles Howard II to Lady Henrietta Ann Bourbon who are the parents of Lady Victoria Elizabeth and Lord Andrew Charles Howard III who are the parents of Lord Andrew Charles IV who marries Lady Josephine Isabella Stuart who are the father and mother of Lord Jerome Alexander and Lord Andrew Charles Howard V and who are the fathers of Lady Athena Isabella Howard and Lady Florence Clara Howard.
