Emilia's POV
Devin started playing a video game. He was getting frustrated.

"Give me the damn thing. You're about to throw it. Actually...you're done playing."

I grabbed the controller and turned everything off. I handed him the tv remote.

"There. Watch something."

"You don't like the stuff I watch."

"Okay. Maybe, I'll like it now. I'm not even paying attention anyway."

He started watching one of his shows. I listened to everything while I read. I started playing with my necklace.

"Shit. I'll be back. I gotta go to the bathroom again."

I got up and ran to the bathroom. I stayed in there for an extra minute to make sure, I was done. I finished up in there. I walked over to the bed and laid down where I was. I looked up at Devin.

"Hey love?"

"Does it bother you that...I read?"

"No. You've always liked reading. That's just how you've been. Helps when my dumbass needs help with something."

"You just like me telling you how to cheat in your games."

He flicked my head.

He leaned over and grabbed my phone and ear buds.

"Put these in and shhh."

I shut up and put my ear buds in and started using my phone. I went on social media. I saw I had a lot of notifications.

I handed him my phone.

"I think...I went viral."

"Yep. That's exactly what happened. Your follower count is higher than it was last night."

"H-how bad?"

"Uhhhh. 10K."

I jumped up.
