It was just a casual date after a costume party. You went to a diner nearby that matched the theme of your couples outfit. It really wasn't that special of an occasion, but still, it made your heart flutter the most. The question was: why? Out of all the special, romantic dates you've ever been on, why were cheesy dates like these the ones that truly got to you? Truthfully, all dates with Seo Changbin got to you.
Tonight you were craving something sweet and your charming boyfriend suggested your favorite diner. Of course, you weren't one to argue with that. It also seemed like a fun idea to go to an old diner in your greaser outfits. You wore a Pink Ladies jacket with teased, curly hair. Changbin had a black leather jacket and ripped jean pants. But you weren't getting any satisfaction from the waffles on your plate. No, not with the entire meal sitting across from you.
You weren't sure if Changbin was just oblivious to your burning stare sent his way, or maybe he was ignoring your looks to tease you. Knowing him, it was the first option. He most likely didn't have a clue how good he truly looked. His arms bulging in the leather jacket you bought him, seemingly ten times smaller on him than it was on anyone else. All his efforts at the gym were always so noticeable it hurt.
You bit the end of your fork, eyes roaming your boyfriend's body. You weren't typically so open to showing affection like this in public, at least not so blatantly as you were doing now. It was too tempting not too, though. You had spent all night in a dark club celebrating a friend's birthday-not really being able to see Binnie so clearly. Now, with the bright lights of the diner illuminating every curve of his chest in the tight white shirt, you were practically drooling.
If the diner wasn't practically empty, you were sure others would be staring too.
"Do you not like your food?" Changbin questions suddenly, pulling your attention to his eyes. "You're clenching your jaw tightly around that poor fork."
Heat rose to your cheeks immediately at the thought of being caught checking him out. "Oh....it's alright." You hadn't even really tried much of the waffles. You couldn't. It would require you to take a bite out of something that wasn't him.
Changbin frowns at you. "Baby, you always love their waffles. Did they make it wrong?"
Oh Binnie ...
Finally, you tore your eyes away from him and down to your plate. You slowly removed the fork from your teeth, digging it into your waffles before bringing it to your lips. Your stomach growled the second it was in your mouth, reminding you that you do, in fact, still need to eat actual food to survive. Not being able to help yourself, you peered up at him through your eyelashes to peek another glance.
To your surprise, he was already looking at you. His lips pulled back into a smirk as his tongue poked the inside of his cheek. Changbin's dark brown eyes narrowed into thin slits as he stared right through you. He gave out a light laugh before sitting back against the booth headboard.
"Not hungry, corazón?"
You bit your lip, dipping your head down to take another bite of the waffles, not being able to look him in the eye again. "Not hungry for food, maybe," you mumble quietly.
Changbin's arm reaches across the table, palm facing upward and waiting for your hand. However, the minute you looked to it, your focus went straight towards the veins that were prominent along the inside of his arm. Your lips parted in shock at the instant attraction you felt spiking your heart rate.
"Ay, mi amor. Such a tease!"
He giggles at your exasperation, retracting his arm from you and going back to eating. His confidence had clearly been boosted by your reaction and he couldn't help but feel smug. Binnie loved that you were so attracted to him, regardless of how he looked. But on days when he was confident, he was far more charming. And today his ego had reached high charts.
You had to finish your food quickly. A couple more bites is all it took before you decided to scarf it all down. Changbin was used to him being the one to finish first, so when he glanced back up to see your plate clean, he couldn't help but laugh again. His lover was excited to go home, he noticed.
The plate pushed aside, you leaned your head on your hands, elbows lifting it up so you were eye-level with your boyfriend. You watched him continue to eat peacefully, a grin so large it tempted you into a small smile yourself. His beautiful giggle filling the air as he attempted to chew the food slower, gauging your reaction. You couldn't complain much, since it allowed you to stay in the same position longer and stare even more.
Changbin had on heavy brown eyeshadow and a thick line of eyeliner over both eyelids. It wasn't a typically greaser look, at least not for the 50s. But you were given the right to his makeup look, and doing a sexy smoky look was always on the table. He wore it too well for you to not choose that option.
To match the iconic black leather jacket, you found a black dangle earring that connected the two piercings on his left lobe. The right one had a singular pink jewel stud. This also corresponded with your earrings, as you had a singular black stud earrings. The two of you had gone all out for this look and you couldn't help but feel proud.
Oh, but the way his jeans molded the curve of his hips as he stood up. Your eyes trailed down, finding them flickering up immediately so he wouldn't catch them sneaking away. He noticed, though, his smirk reappearing as he offered his hand once more. He helped you to stand, left hand spinning you around and guiding you by your hips to the exit.
"You have no idea what you just started," he whispers in your ear the second you step outside into the dark again. Changbin placed a kiss on your hair before stepping away to open your car door. You took a shaky breath, feeling your heart rate accelerate as you walked to your side of the car and got in.
"I have a pretty good idea."
