"He is small."I laughed at the blunt statement, looking up to the gorgeous man who wore a dumbfounded expression. "Well, yes. He is a baby."
Seokwoo stares down at the baby, his expression morphing between disbelief and astonishment. "He is definitely your kid," he comments, moving the blanket from his son's face. "But he looks like me."
Rolling my eyes, I reached up from the bed to pat his arm. "I wonder why," I sarcastically respond, causing a muffled laugh to emit from his sister in the corner of the room. I sent a grin her way before turning to Seokwoo again. "Now give me him. I want to hold my child."
"I have held him for two seconds. Two! Let me enjoy this first moment with the other me." He deliberately turns to his side to block me from reaching for the child. "Your mommy is impatient, isn't she? You are so handsome like me, my son. I hope you are just like me!"
I tsked but leaned back, an evident smile on my face as I relax into the bed. I still couldn't get over how fast Do young was ready to come out, even for my first kid. He was so willing and ready to see the world, it seemed. And now that he is here, his dad is all over him.
"Okay it is now time for you to meet your mom," Rowoon says loudly, slowly turning back to me before placing our son within my grasp. I smile brightly, feeling the light weight finally close enough to me to cuddle.
Seokwoo placed a kiss on my forehead. "Thank you, my love," he whispers, looking down at our son with such admiration. "He will grow to be just like me. And hopefully have my good looks and height. We don't want him to be bullied because he looks like you."
I threw him an immediate glare and he jumps back laughing. "You are lucky my arms are occupied."
He shrugs, going over to sit with his sister for a little bit as I have my moment with my child. His eyes kept glancing our way, though, his smile too noticeable to deny. It was adorable the way he had instantly grown attached to the child even before he was born. And now that he is here with us, I know very well how much Rowoon will adore this child.
It made my heart melt. Snuggling up to our son, whom definitely did look like an exact replica of his father, I peppered small kisses all over his soft cheeks as he laid asleep in my arms. After awhile, more people started to finally arrive at the hospital. Seokwoo stood the greet them all, eyeing anyone and everyone who held his son.
"Make sure you put your hand under his head!" He says loudly, watching as the person carefully grabs a hold of the baby.
His mother gives him a look. "I had two kids. I know what I'm doing."
I giggled lightly before waving my husband over to my side. "Babe, relax. You are worse than I am," I whispered in his ear. I gave him a soft kiss, knowing it helped him calm down whenever he was on his toes.
He gazes into my eyes, his being bright and full of happiness. Something that he sometimes would randomly look at me with, then shower me with love. " I love you, so much."
"I love you too," I answer honestly, glancing towards our child. "You make a wonderful father."
He pecks my cheek. "And you will be an amazing mother, my love. Just you wait." He pauses for a moment and looks at me, though I still hadn't removed my gaze from the other side of the room. "You are so lucky to have two of me."
I heaved and sigh that eventually turned into a laugh and shook my head. "Yes. I'm very lucky."
