She was like the stunning view of the sun on beautiful morning day; always shining brightly and bringing color to everyone else's day. Her smile was as sweet as the cotton candy found by a couple on a date at a carnival; sharing a lovely moment with the person they wish to be forever with. Her voice was as smooth as the sound of the ocean waves on a calm breezy day; flowing in one after another and bringing in relaxation.

The touch of her hand, the feeling of her presence, the thought of her delicate personality brought a tender smile to his face. His thoughts involuntarily became consumed with images and memories of her. She was such a beauty in every living way. The way his heart thumped when she would cheerfully call his name, and the way his lungs struggled to receive enough oxygen to process the world around him.

"Mr. Moon, would you mind reading off what the chapter page in your handbook says about this topic?" A stern looking man called from the front of the room, gathering everyone's attention to the shy boy in the back.

He had shrunk slightly at the sight of people staring at him as he had hopelessly been making googly eyes towards the girl in the front row. After taking in the words the teacher had asked, he swallowed the anxiety in the back of his throat and sighed softly. To the semi large class he was use to being in, he read aloud the handbook that was passed around minutes before.

The teacher, a rather tall man who seemingly was endlessly bored with everything he taught, nodded to acknowledge the boy's words. "Please stay focused next time, Mr. Moon. This may be your future on the line, but also your money down the drain."

Sheepsihly, Moonbin sunk in his seat. He couldn't help but feel slightly guilty for spending away precious time while thinking of her. But, it seemed quite worth it when he realized that such a beautiful person may one day become his. Things like college work are important, but not as much as finding his true love.

Class had come to a quick end for the day. Time had rolled on slowly as he dreamt of different things he could be doing with her instead. Whether it be holding hands while visiting a park, racing each other to the food court in the mall after watching a movie, or staying up late to watch marathons of their favorite dramas. Everything, to him, would be absolutely perfect.

Because she was his everything.

"Danielle!" He anxiously called as the class was being dismissed. While running down the small set of stairs to reach the bottom row where she stood, he watched her head swing around to grin up at him.

"Binnie!" She said his name so flawlessly while a soft giggle followed. "What is wrong with you today?"

His heart thumped as he stood before her, his bag in hand that held a secret surprise he had been worried about all day. "I want you to go with me somewhere, today. Are you free?"

Danielle tilted her head to the side in hopes to read the expression on her best friends face. Unable to, she sighed with defeat but nodded anyway. "I'm free for awhile." A look of suspicion molded on her face. "Where are we going?"

Moonbin shook his head. "No tell! Come, Miss America. We must have some fun for the day. Exams are over and I feel confident we did pretty well."

Danielle smiled at his foolishness. Oh, how much she cared for this boy. He had always been by her side since the day she came from America for her studies. Moonbin was the first to speak with her, as everyone else did not wish to talk to a foreigner. Some thought she was clueless to the Korean language and really should have stayed back home. Fortunately, for her, she had made new friends because of him.

He was her best friend. Like a brother she never had.

Today might as well be a good day, anyway. By the time she confesses the news, she believes their friendship may come to a dead end. Hopefully by fulfilling his request today, it will be easier to tell him.
