Kelce comes strolling over rubbing his hands together. My eyes dart around the party looking back to where Topper was just sat, he's no longer there. I'm scanning the crowds for him when I finally spot him stood with Sarah at the bar, his back turned. I breathe a sigh of relief at the fact he didn't see.

But Kelce did.

Fuck sake.

"I knew you were together! You tried lying to me V, you're a terrible liar." He taunts mischievously. "And you stud Cameron, how did you manage to score with her." He looks between us, patting Rafe on the shoulder.

Rafe shrugs him off. "Don't you mean how did Nessa score with me." He corrects Kelce, giving me a playful wink letting me know he's joking. But he's right. How the hell did I score with Rafe Cameron. The guy I have had a crush on since I was a little girl. The constant butterflies in my stomach I had every single day when I saw him. The boy who gave me my first scar. The boy who was my first kiss. The boy who's photograph I slept with under my pillow every single night hoping to dream about him. The boy who made it clear there was no chance for us. He is now my boyfriend.

"No way man! V is way out of your league." Kelce chuckles. "She's so hot, you're just meh."

Rafe's face falls serious. "Did you just call my girlfriend hot?"

"I mean she's... erm... she's average..." Kelce stutters panicked, slowly backing away from Rafe. "She... she's a 2..."

"Did you just call my girlfriend ugly?" Rafe tuts, shaking his head.

Kelce's eyes nearly pop out of his skull when he realises he can't win, stuck in a catch 22. He jogs as far away from Rafe as he can get.

"We need to tell him not to say anything." I try not to sound too worried about Kelce knowing not wanting Rafe to think I don't want him.

Rafe entwines his hand with mine pulling me into him letting me know we're back to dancing. "Don't worry about Kelce, he's not gonna say a word." He assured me quietly before spinning me and dipping me once again making me giggle and completely forget about Kelce knowing our secret.

We danced until our feet hurt and most of the party goers had left. My mother had to take Topper home cause he passed out on one of the tables and Sarah went with them.

Me and Rafe was sat playing footsie at our table, both being completely sober.

"You want to come back to mine?"

"I thought you were never going to ask." At my unique way of answering yes to his question, Rafe stands to his feet offering me his hand.

I take it as he pulls me to my feet, entwining our fingers together he leads me to the car.

The ride home is silent. His warm hand resting on my thigh the entire journey, his gold signet ring shining with each streetlight we pass.

A deep seeded feeling of lust planted in the depths of my gut with every glance I took of him.

We stop in the hallway beside the kitchen just before the stairs, not bothering to be quiet after beating his dad and Rose home. Rafe couldn't wait till we got to his bedroom, he had to taste my lips now.

Our kiss so deep and desperate we don't hear the kitchen light switch on and shuffling feet.

"Well I'd never have guessed."

We both jump apart at the sudden voice, my heart beat racing after being so certain the house was empty.

"What the fuck, wheezie!" Rafe cusses, running a hand through his disheveled hair.

She stares between the two of us with a shit eating grin seeming so pleased she caught us.

"Hi wheezie." I squeak, my cheeks red, my heart rate slowly decreasing back to normal.

"I thought you was staying out?" Rafe asks his youngest sister confusing etched into his face.

"Alice didn't feel well and then she started throwing up so her mum dropped me home cause I didn't fancy getting ill, and now here we are." She grins devilishly between us.

"I'll give you 20 bucks if you keep this a secret and put on your headphones." Rafe blurts out nonchalantly causing my eyes to go wide and earning himself a light arm smack from me.

"Gross!" Wheezie protests. "50 and you've got yourself a deal." She adds with a shrug.

"Deal." He gambles with his little sister, pulling out a $50 dollar note from his pocket and slapping it into wheezies held out palm. She mimes zipping her mouth, locking it and throwing away the key before stalking off in the direction of the living room, hopefully where her headphones are.

Rafe grabs my hand, racing up the stairs and into his bedroom before slamming his door closed, clicking the lock and pressing me up against it.

"You're un-fucking-real Ness." His voice as low as a whisper as his forehead rests on mine. He tucks a loose strand of my hair behind my ear. "You have no idea what you do to me." His words causing my heart to beat erratically, the whole damn zoo going crazy in my stomach.

"You don't know what you do to me, Rafe Cameron." I tell him honestly, our noses brushing against each other.

He steps back, grabbing the backs of my thighs effortlessly lifting me up, I wrap my legs around his waist with my arms around his neck. He smirks down at me. "I think I know exactly what I do to you."

The sun beaming through the curtains wakes me up from a peaceful sleep. Finding myself in Rafe's bed once again has me smiling like an idiot to myself.

Rafe is nowhere to be seen and I can hear his shower running which tells me exactly where he is.

I starfish his bed breathing in his covers and his pillow which smell exactly like him: aftershave, soap and Rafe.

The ping of a phone echoes through the entire room. Knowing my phone is forever on silent, I look around and notice Rafe's phone on his nightstand.

Chewing on my lip, deciding whether or not to look at it; I give in to the tiny devil on my shoulder and reach over to grab his phone.

Expecting to see a text message from his dad or his friends, my jaw drops when I see a text from...

Kie.
