1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ....

One day with me and you
One way to make it true
A way for us to say
Those three words every day
I'd go so far for you
I'd burn the world down for you
Only got one chance
To give all we had
But it's not enough,
It's never enough

Two weeks when I found out the truth
How I felt for you
Never thought I'd tell you how I felt
Still haven't, but that's for someone else
Two seconds is all it takes
For me to tell you,
To make my mistake
Shattering friendships with three words
Words I want nothing more than to tell you

Three words leading to ruin
Three words to describe what I am feelin'
I just want to say
"I love you"
And you know it's true
But I havent talked to you in months
This isn't like you
To disappear
And leave me wondering why

Four breaths shared between us
Four hands entwined
All it takes this time,
Is saying what's inside
But I'm too scared
Too broken and dejected
To admit how I feel
So alone and unprotected

Five words I'll say instead
"Hi, how are you, friend?"
And I will never admit
How I feel abou you
Because I'm too scared
To ruin what we have already
