The sounds of her wings
I feel her words sting
Even as she sings

The brilliance of her smile
Luring me in
Like I am a magnet
And she, a metal shield

She is my rock when I need foundation
The truth when I'm surrounded with lies

It's all so hard to tell
When things keep changing
And youre lost in a dark hell
A pit of despair, a horror unveiled
Powerful force pulls you under
The more you fight, the more you blunder

You'll find trouble here,
Nothing but a hard time
It's impossible to tell
Right from wrong

But when she's around
It's like there's birdsong in the air abound
Like the sun shines like a prism light
And you feel like you'll never be alone

The world is calm when I'm with her
When she's with me
And I love her
And she loves me
