alone in an abyss

I feel so alone
Lost and never to be found
And it's begun to feel like the end has come
The lights are out,
No one's home anymore
The chairs are on the tables,
And the credits have rolled

And yet, I'm here
All alone in this unending pain
I know no other way
To be
Than to be like this
So alone and so undone
Trapped in an Abyss

I will always ask myself
Why didn't I leave
When everyone else did?
When the lights went out
One by one,
And I could've left it

But I didn't
No, I didn't
So now I'm here

Lost, so lost,
I want to disappear
I'll ask you why you left me
Why you took your bags and vanished
But I know now, yes I know now
I don't want to hear it
So now, I'm alone

It'll take everything I have
To find a way to press on
But here and now,
I'll live in the here and now,
Or else I'll just give up....

No, that's not an option
