For you, I'd steal the stars
For you, I'd love your scars
We may have been lost
And sometimes we thought we'd fade
But in the end,
Nothing was lost,
Yet plenty was gained

Your breath mixing with mine
The ever shifting tides
Swirling about in my mind
I'm lost in time

Yet even though I cannot be broken
Because I have you by my side
The stars told me
I was going to love you
And they were right
Oh, how right they were

Because you and I
We are one tonight
Dancing among them,
The stars shining so bright
Like a flame in the abyssal night

We dance and thrive
Live, not just survive

We embrace ourselves
And curb the lies
But when the time may come
For us to die,
We won't just fade away
For it is not our time
