who I'm meant to be

You took me away from those I loved
Corrupted my view of all that is beloved
Nothing can hide my fears inside
Lost between the darkness and light

Locks and keys and sweet miseries
You've trapped me in your memories
I can't escape from these four walls
But the pain keeps me bound to your call

Nothing seems to be the same
Of when the time comes and we change
But the locks fade
The walls crumble away

And I break free
No more locks, just keys
My heart is my own
And I am alone
But that is who I'm meant to be
