stay strong

You can cry
You can scream
And you can ask, "Why me?"
You can shout
You can rage
But you can never go away

This life is hard,
Yeah, we all know that
But sometimes, it knocks you down
And then we can't see the light
But I am here, I won't let you drown
I've got your back, just look around

There's more to this life than pain
It may seem at times that it's all there is
But that is a lie, I promise you,
There's more to this life than what you're feeling now

Please just hear me out,
If I have to scream or shout,
I swear I will.
I'll shout until my fucking throat bleeds

There's more to life than it seems
Right now, it's bad, yes,
But it does get better, I swear
I've got your back.
I'm not going anywhere

Ignore the haters
Ignore their lies
You're stronger than them.
You'd be surprised

People try and pull you down
Mock you or make you frown

You are allowed to feel sad,
You are allowed to feel broken,
But don't you ever give up
You are not broken!
This world sucks, that's just a fact
But I'm here, I've got your back

This world is fucked,
That's just the truth
It hurts those of us who
Are more empathic than the rest
It mocks us, taunts us,
Won't let us rest

But I promise you,
I love you
And I am always here
I'll always be there
A shoulder to cry on,
Or a warrior by your side.

I'm not going anywhere,
That, I can promise you
You're not going to leave me,
And you're going to stay strong

You can scream
You can cry
You can rage
And you can try
But please, don't ever
Don't ever give up....
