things keep changing

The way things keep changing
It's so hard to see
How much love is within humanity
But yet, no matter how hard I try
I can't find it
The truth hidden within lies

Humanity is supposed to be resilient
We are supposed to love
And yet, the world is so full of hate
It makes me so sad

To watch as those of us who are full of hate
Prosper in this twisted world of ours
I don't understand
Why this is happening to us all

But no matter what may happen next
Remember where you come from,
And never forget your nest
