The time has come

To burn like me 

It's so hard to learn 
How to let go, 
And watch yourself burn

How I've been cursed? 


It's such a sweet sound 
To be bound 
To the rhymes 
And the lies 
Locked in a daze 
A daydream, a nightmare haze 


I burn and I burn 
Some days, it's all I can do 
To remain true 
To who I am 
And who I was 


But still, I burn 
And burn and burn 

It's a storm I'm drowning in 
But my fire still burns 
No matter what's said or done 
I know who is the one 

It's time to make a splash 
And burn this world to ash
