nightmares

Shaking hands and cold words
Blistering hot blood and broken wards
The nightmares lead to shattered memories
It's a dark kind of sorceries

White skin, pale face
Shaking all over, like some kind of chase
Lips blue, hearts race
It's time to just embrace

Nightmares bring about dark days
There's a lot of different ways
To know the truth of your heart
Even when the world tries to tear you apart

Dark eyes, brown like my lover
I know you like no other
Nightmares plague you,
And they haunt me, too
I just wish to know the truth
Of why there's so much pain in you

My heart breaks for those of you
Suffering from nightmares too
It's like we're lost in a tomb
A place like no other,
One where we are embraced by our lovers

Nightmares haunt us all
But yet, we sleep all night long
It's hard to think
Through the darkened days
But yet, we persist through the phase

It's time to shatter these nightmares
Trapped in these dark lairs
We break the walls and barriers
Shatter through the tears

Nightmares persist and only grow
But so do you, so you should know
It's time to glow

Break up these nightmares once and for all
Ignore their darkness full of fear
And become the one you're meant to be
Forever and always, you'll stay with me
