Friday, 8:21 pm

I finished up my hair and took a final look in the mirror, doing a small twirl.

"Ready to go?" Michael asked, peeping into my room. From what I could see, he brushed out his mullet properly and was wearing a nice suit.

"Yup!" I said, struggling to walk out of my room in heels.

We walked downstairs, Henry saw us on the couch and smiled.

"Oh my gosh you guys are adorable! I need to take a picture." Henry said, grabbing his camera.

"Pose!" He said, cheesily.

Michael hugged me from behind and smiled, and I did too.

The Polaroid camera flashed and the photo fell out onto the floor.

"I'll go ahead and put this in the photo book, you two go ahead and have fun!" Henry said, picking up the photo.

"Bye Henry!" we both yelled out, walking out the door.

Michael opened the door for me as I got in, and closed it then got in the car and started it.

"Ready?" Michael asked once again.

"Yes Michael, im ready" I said.

Michael pulled out of the driveway and headed over to our school.

8:36 pm

We pulled up to the school and got out of the car, admiring the decorations.

Michael linked arms with me and we walked inside together, trying to spot our friends.

"Is that Catarina and mark?! Together?" I exclaimed, pointing over to them.

"Holy shit." Michael said, speed walking over there.

"Since when have you two been dating?" I asked as we walked up to them, startling them.

"Uhh..." Catarina stammered, blushing.

"Around the time you guys started dating I guess." Mark said.

"Oh well. What kind of food do they have?" I asked.

"Chocolate covered strawberry's and marshmallows" Catarina told me, raising her eyebrows.

"OH MY GOSH MIKEY THEY HAVE A CHOCOLATE FONDUE FOUNTAIN LETS GO!" I screamed, pulling him over to it.

We got to the fountain and I grabbed a strawberry to dip it into the chocolate.

"Want one?" I offered Michael.

I looked back at him and somehow he was already eating a marshmallow.

"Nevermind then" I said, laughing.

We laughed together as we ate toppings from the fondue fountain.

9:00 pm

We had been talking with our friends for a while now, enjoying the music they played.

A familiar screech from the microphone filled our ears, startling me in particular.

"Hello boys and girls! Time to dance!" The DJ said into the mic, turning on more music.

"Do you know how to dance?" Michael asked, looking at me.

I looked back up at him and blushed, realizing I didn't know how.

"No.." I said.

"I can teach you, cmon" Michael said, pulling me to the dance floor.

He put my arms around his neck, and put his hands on my waist.

"See? Like this. Just sway with me" he said.

I started to get the hang of it, swaying on beat against him.

He spun me around, and surprisingly I went along with it.

First Love / Late Spring by Mitski came on the speakers.

I smiled as me and Michael continued to dance, laughing.

Michael pulled me into a kiss, and I realized;
