Dean and Cas have been on the road for about four hours, driving back to the bunker. Cas had been reading a book, but he finished it about an hour ago. Dean looks over at Cas, and since Cas is done reading, turns up the music.

Dean smiles as a Coldplay song plays; he loves Coldplay. "You like this song?" Dean asks, stopping at a stop sign. They're in the middle of nowhere.

"Yes, it's very calming." Cas says, looking over at Dean and smiling politely.

Dean pulls the car to the side of the road, parking. "What are you doing?" Cas asks. It's pitch black outside, nobody around, and the stars are shining super bright.

"Dance with me." Dean suggests, opening his door. He steps out and walks around to Cas's side, opening the door and reaching his hand out. Cas grabs it, nervously. He doesn't know how to dance, and if he does, what does that mean for the two of them. Cas doesn't know humanity that well, but he knows that normally only couples dance.

Cas steps out of the car, grabbing Dean's hand. "I don't know how to dance, Dean." Cas says, leaving his door open to hear the music.

"It's okay, I'll teach you." Dean says, putting Cas's hands on his hips. Dean holds them there for a second before he reaches up and puts his arms around Cas's neck. "Okay, good. Keep your hands there and just kind of move to the music." Dean explains and Cas nods, blushing embarrassed.

"Okay..." Cas says, swaying with the song. Dean sways with him, keeping his arms around Cas's neck.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Dean asks, looking up at the stars that are shining brightly.

"Very." Cas says, looking down at Dean, still.

"Cas," Dean laughs. "I meant the stars." He says, smiling and blushing.

"Oh." Cas says, blushing insanely red. There's no way he just said that. "Yes, they are." Cas says, looking up.

Dean smiles at the innocent angel dancing with him as a new song comes on, I Don't Want to Miss a Thing by Aerosmith. Cas looks back down at Dean and sees Dean staring at him.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" Cas says, moving a hand from Dean's hip and wiping at his face.

"No, Cas." Dean says, pulling Cas's hand back to his hip, smiling. "You're gorgeous." Dean says, smiling.

Cas blushing and looks down at his hands on Dean's hips. They're gripping the hunter tight, not even thinking of letting go.

Dean moves a hand from Cas's neck and lifts Cas's chin up with one finger. "Thank you," Dean says, smiling at the angel.

"For what?" Cas asks, looking into the hunter's apple green eyes. Dean smiles.

"For this. For everything." Dean smiles, slowly getting closer to the angel, the two still swaying with the music.

"Thank you too, then." Cas smiles, realizing how close Dean is now. Cas looks down at Dean's pink lips and can't stop staring. Dean bites his lip nervously and leans up moving his hands to the side of Cas's face.

Cas leans down and the two connect their lips together in a slow, passionate, thankful kiss. Dean smiles into the kiss and Cas smiles too, neither wanting this to ever end.

They keep their lips pressed together until the end of the song, when they separate, they're not dancing anymore, just standing there, Dean's hands on Cas's face and Cas's hands on Dean's back, keeping him close.

"I love you, Cas." Dean says, smiling. He's wanted to say those words to Cas for forever.

"Dean," Cas says breathlessly.

"No, seriously, I love you. I'm in love with you." Dean says, again, staring into Cas's blue eyes, waiting for a response.

Cas smiles widely and kisses Dean again, a new song playing, Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish. Dean presses his tongue against Cas's lips and Cas lets him in, happily. They kiss for what seems like forever, but it's only a few minutes.

When they pull back, Cas smiles widely, wiping the corner of his mouth. "I love you too, Dean." Cas says and Dean smiles widely. "God, I love you so much." Cas says, pulling Dean into a hug.

"Cas will you be my boyfriend?" Dean asks, smiling into the hug.

"Yes." Cas says simply, into Dean's ear. "We should get back on the road." Cas suggests, realizing that the music has stopped.

"Yeah, you're right." Dean says, the two still together in a hug. Neither wants to let go from the other.

The two pull apart at the same time, smiling at each other. Dean smiles widely and presses a quick kiss to Cas's lips. Cas smiles and walks back to the car with Dean. Dean smiles and steps in his car, and Cas does the same thing.

Cas has his hand on Dean's for most of the car ride until Dean changes the cassette tape that's playing, then, Cas's hand goes to Dean's thigh. Dean smiles widely and puts a hand on top of Cas's.

When the two arrive back at the bunker, they're exhausted. They walk to Dean's room, hands linked, and almost immediately fall asleep. By the time they wake up the next day it's one in the afternoon.

"Cas, baby, wake up, I'm starving." Dean says, looking down at the sleeping angel on his chest.

"Hmm?" Cas says, opening his eyes, he smiles right as he's met with Dean's eyes staring down at him. "Good morning, Dean." Cas says, his voice insanely deep.

"Good morning, are you hungry?" Dean asks and Cas's stomach growls at the thought of food. Dean laughs, "I'll take that as a yes." He laughs and Cas buries his face into Dean's chest.

"Five more minutes." Cas groans, feeling the heat of Dean's bare chest on his cheek. It's perfect.

Ten minutes later, Cas fell asleep again on Dean, so Dean reaches for his phone and scrolls through twitter for a little while before he's unbearably hungry. Dean texts Sam and asks, 'do we have any food? i'm starving'

Sam sends a text back almost instantly, 'yeah, didn't know you were home.'

'yeah, me and Cas got back at like 4am. can you bring me some. i'm exhausted' Dean replies, kind of worried about Sam seeing Dean and Cas together.

Sam knocks on the door and Dean says a quiet "Come in."

When Sam walks in, he smiles widely, looking at the sleeping angel on top of Dean. "Yeah, I couldn't really get up. I tried to wake him up because I was starving, but he fell back asleep." Dean says, running a hand through Cas's hair.

"That's adorable." Sam says, smiling and handing Dean a plate with three pancakes and tons of bacon, then a black coffee. "I'll bring some back for Cas, give me a second." Sam says, walking out of the room and sending a text to Charlie.

"Baby, wake up, Sam's bringing you food." Dean says, kissing the angel's forehead.

"Baby?" Cas asks, again in a deep voice. "I like that." He smiles, moving up to Dean's right side, still laying his head on Dean's shoulder. Dean kisses his forehead one more time and Sam walks back in with another plate and a glass of orange juice.

He hands the plate and drink to Cas and Cas says "Thank you, Sam." His head still laying on Dean's shoulder.

"How long?" Sam asks, sitting at the foot of the bed. "Oh god and please tell me you have clothes on Dean!" Sam says, realizing that Dean doesn't have a shirt on.

"Yes, dumbass, I have clothes on." Dean says, blushing and taking a sip of his coffee. "Since last night. Like at 2am." Dean smiles, looking down at the angel who's eating his breakfast quickly. "Cas, slow down, you'll choke." Dean laughs.

"How did it happen? Unless I don't want to know..." Sam says, smirking.

"It's nothing sexual! We were listening to music on the way home last night and I pulled over and asked Cas to dance with me." Dean smiles.

"And then, I accidentally called him beautiful and later on we kissed." Cas mentions, his mouth full of food.

"Yeah, basically. Then when we got home last night, we were exhausted so we just came straight in here and fell asleep." Dean says, seeing Sam's wide smile.

"That's awesome guys, I'm proud of y'all for finally admitting it." Sam says, standing up and smiling still.

"Finally?!" Dean asks, Sam and Cas laughing.

"Everyone knew Dean. You were the only one who didn't." Cas says, smiling. "All the angels, demons, our families. They all saw it." He says, smiling and kissing Dean's cheek.

"Oh." Dean says blushing. Sam laughs and leaves Dean and Cas alone together. The rest of the day went perfectly, the two of them cuddling and kissing while watching movies in bed since they were still so tired.

They finished off the night by dancing again to the same Coldplay song that they did in the first place, Sparks.
