A/N Okay look, i can explain... I may or may not have ventured into another gut wrenching show, Good Omens, and I have not written any spn stuff since. I am SO SO SORRY to anyone who has been waiting on an update! I'm not super sure when I'll post this chapter, or any others, but I am getting back into spn too since GO has like two more years until another season comes out.
Anyways, again, so so sorry, but I hope you enjoy this!
⚠️Smut⚠️
Dean and Sam were away at a case. They somehow, thanks to Bobby, scored an actual hotel to stay in. With two separate rooms, at that. Dean is very very thankful for that privacy.
After day one of this case, the boys decided to go back to the hotel and get some rest, and a much needed shower. Tennessee heat in the middle of July has not been kind to them, and they have been sweating all day.
As Dean steps in the shower, his mind wanders to how Cas is doing. He's been acting strange lately, and opted out of the case this time. He's back at the bunker, doing whatever it is that angels do in their free time.
Dean finishes his shower with only a few unsavory thoughts about his best friend, and dries off. He pulls on some random pajama pants that he brought, and opens his laptop, planning to do some research. They have no idea what creature this is that they're hunting.
As soon as he opens his laptop, he decides that maybe he could just video call Cas to get some information. He opens up Skype, and presses the video call button, hearing the laptop ringing.
Soon enough, Cas picks up. His hair is a bit more messy than usual, his trenchcoat and jacket are discarded, and his shirt is half way unbuttoned. "Whoa, buddy are you okay?" Dean asks, noticing how off Cas looks. He, personally, thinks that Cas looks insanely sexy right now, but he's obviously not himself.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine, Dean. Do you need something?" Cas asks, his voice scratchy. Is he getting sick? Can angels even get sick?
Dean decides not to ask. If Cas doesn't want to talk about it, he won't push.
"Uh, yeah. So this monster..." Dean begins. He goes on and on about what this thing did to multiple people in the town, and surrounding areas, and tries to list off a bunch of creatures that are similar. None of them seem right though. Cas gives some suggestions, and Dean decided he'll have to do more research to figure out anything more.
Throughout the conversation, Dean cannot stop staring at Cas, though. He looks so different than usual. It's not a bad different, and it's obviously not a good one if Cas isn't feeling well, but Dean finds him extremely attractive like this.
Cas' shifting on the chair as Dean talks. Dean can tell he's uncomfortable, he just doesn't know why. He doesn't know if he should bring it up.
"Cas, hold on." Dean says, stopping Cas' talking. "Are you sure you're okay? You seem really off..." Dean asks. "Are you sick? Can angels even get sick?" Dean asks, concerned.
"No, I'm not sick, Dean. I'm fine, just really frustrated and uncomfortable." Cas says, groaning. Dean's cheeks heat up as he hears that groan, and he feels a little (not so little) something beginning to grow.
"About what? Did someone say something to you? Whose ass do I need to kick?" Dean asks, hoping that nobody made Cas this uncomfortable.
"No, it wasn't a person. It's... it's my wings." Cas says a bit nervously, making Dean have to place his hand over the crotch of his pants. Thinking about Cas' wings always gets him overly riled up. They're just so gorgeous, even when he's only seen them once or twice.
