A/N In honor of my newest one-shots book being at chapter 50 and 10K reads at the same time, I thought it would be appropriate to write something including the number 50 between Destiel. I hope you all like it and thank you so much for all the support since my old one-shots book got deleted!!

Castiel is an absolute dork.

Ever since Dean and Cas started dating, Cas has been very adamant to get Dean a gift for every month they've been dating.

At first, it was big things like a trip to the beach or a promise ring (promising Dean to love him until the end of time).

Slowly, things started to die down as Cas ran out of things to do around their one-year anniversary. From there on, it was a bouquet of beautiful, rare flowers, a nice dinner date, or a box of chocolates; which Dean appreciated the most, the little things.

Dean always expected the gifts. Every month on the 12th day, he'd get a gift, and sometimes, he'd get Cas something too, but this time was weird.

It was four years and a few months after they started dating. The 12th of October. Their anniversary. This day, though, Cas was out with Gabriel in heaven talking to Chuck about something, Dean didn't know what. He just hoped that it wasn't apocalyptic.

Dean went about his day as he normally would, eating with Sam, looking for hunts, and checking in with Bobby, Jody, and Ellen. But all day, he felt that something was missing. He prayed to Cas multiple times, asking if he was okay because "something is off."

Cas never answered though, worrying Dean. Sam assured Dean that his boyfriend was okay and with Sam's boyfriend, safe. Dean, though, wasn't positive.

"Cas I'm serious, something's wrong, can you at least send me a sign that you're okay?" Dean prays, sitting on his bed. Nothing. He doesn't hear anything from Cas or see anything that could be a sign.

"Dammit." Dean mutters, laying down under the covers in his bed, taking in the scent of the angel that was there this morning.

Dean soon falls asleep in the comfort of his bed; it becomes even more comfortable the longer he lays in it.

When he wakes up, he's confused at the sight. His room no longer looks like his room. It's beautiful and bright with tons of golden details in marble walls.

"Cas?" Dean asks, knowing that this is probably Cas' doing, but there's no response.

"Cas, this is getting weird! Please just come out. Where the hell are you?" Dean says again and the door to his - not his - the room opens slightly with a creak. Dean walks towards the door, carefully, if this isn't Cas, then it's some kind of monster. Dean pulls out his gun just in case. It just has normal bullets, but whatever the thing is, it'll stall it.

He pushes the door open cautiously, backing away as he looks through the door. There are rose petals on the floor leading down a hallway. Dean follows them, smiling slightly and tucking away his gun in the waistband of his pants. It is Cas' doing.

When Dean gets out of the hallway, he's in a huge, open room with windows letting beautiful sunlight into the room. Dean glances out the window and sees trees upon trees. Where is he?

Dean doesn't bother asking, he continues to follow the rose petals and sees them stop at the front door. He opens the door, confused as the house behind him disappears. He looks back at where the building was and it's gone, all that's there now is an open patch of grass with tons of flowers. Dean smiles, admiring the lengths that Cas went through to make this anniversary special.

Suddenly, more rose petals appear through the flower field and Dean follows them, picking a few flowers on the way. He sticks one behind his ear and chuckles at himself. He knows that if Sam saw him like this, he'd be teased for ages, but with Cas, it's appreciated and loved.

Dean finally makes it to the end of the rose petal trail and sees a cliff looking down at thousands of trees and a few beautiful mountains in the distance. Dean stares in awe, not noticing when Cas comes up behind him.

"Dean." Cas says and Dean jumps, spinning around, pointing his gun at Cas' head. But Dean's eyes shoot wide open when he realizes why his gun is pointed lower than usual. He drops the gun and stares at Cas, down on one knee in the flowers.

"Cas-" Dean says breathlessly, smiling down at his boyfriend.

"Dean today is 50 months of us being together. Four years and two months exactly. These past four years have been amazing with you Dean, and even though I'm an angel, I'd really like to experience human relationship things.

"I really love you Dean and I don't really know your thoughts on this, but Dean, will you do me the honor and marry me?" Cas says and Dean is speechless.

Dean drops to his knees, kicking his gun out of the way, and pulls Cas close by his shoulders, looking at the open ring box holding a silver ring with blue letters carved into it. They're enochian and absolutely beautiful.

Dean looks up to Cas' face, he's obviously worried that Dean's going to say no, so Dean pulls him into a rushed kiss. Tears start to stroll down Dean's cheeks, and he kisses Cas with passion, running his hands through his hair.

When Dean pulls back, there are still tears running down his face and he's breathing hard, but he whispers out a strained "yes." Launching himself at Cas and pulling him into a hug.

Cas smiles widely into Dean's neck and presses kisses along his neck, then his shoulder, trailing down his left arm, and down to his hand. Cas presses one last kiss to Dean's left hand ring finger and slips on the band, making Dean sob quietly.

"I love you, Dean." Cas says, smiling widely at Dean's reaction. He knows it's out of pure love.

"Castiel, I love you more than words could ever express." Dean replies, smiling through his tears. He brings his hand up to his eyes and stares at the little enochian carvings, deciphering them in his head.

"It says Castiel Winchester. I thought since I don't really have a last name, I should take yours. If you don't want me too, though, we can figure that out and I can make a new ring." Cas explains, seeing Dean understanding the letters more and more in his mind until a surprised look comes over his face.

"Make a new one? You made this? How the hell did you do this?" Dean asks, still admiring the ring.

"When I was a young angel, we had school much like humans for the first couple hundred years of our lives. They taught us things that we almost never get to use though, so I thought I'd use this one skill for you." Cas smiles. "The dark bits are my feathers, and the blueish bits are my grace." He explains, snapping the building back into reality.

Dean and Cas are suddenly in the living room of the building with a fire going and it's now dark outside. "Do you like it?" Cas asks nervously, this is the only thing he'd made with this skill he was taught thousands of years ago. It took him a long time to remember how to even start.

"Like it? Cas it's beautiful. It's perfect, baby." Dean says, taking his eyes off of the ring and smiling at his fiancé. "I love you so much, Cas, I'm so happy that I get to be your husband." Dean smiles. Cas returns the smile and pulls Dean down onto the couch, cuddling him gently.

"I love you too, Dean, happy 50 months." Cas says and Dean giggles a little. Cas is such a dork.

"Happy 50 months, angel." Dean replies, kissing Cas deeply.
