SMUTTY
~~Flashback, 1 year ago~~
Dean and Cas laid in their bed together, Cas running his hands along Dean's arm. Dean hummed at the relaxation he was feeling, and that's when Cas decided to sprout his question that he had been thinking about for a few weeks.
"Baby." Cas said softly.
Dean smiled and opened his eyes, "hm?" Dean asked, feeling more relaxed than ever.
"What do you think about us making... making a- a um.." Cas tried to get out, but each time he was about to say it, he stuttered and couldn't get the words out.
"A what?" Dean asked, confused. What would have made Cas so nervous to ask Dean?
"A... tape." Cas stuttered, trying to calm himself down.
Dean raised an eyebrow at Cas and smirked. "What kind of tape?" He asked.
Cas blushes darker and avoided Dean's stare. "You know... a um-" Cas started.
"A sex tape?" Dean asked, smirking at the idea.
"A... yeah. A- sex tape." Cas confirmed, making Dean lean over and kiss Cas.
Cas smiled into the kiss, pushing Dean down on the bed by his shoulders. "Do you have a camera?" Cas asked, smirking as his thought became reality.
~~eight months later~~
Dean and Cas had been arguing about Dean's frequent, irresponsible, unthought-out case taking. He had been reckless in the last month or so, and Cas was over it.
"Dean, you can't do this shit every week. You keep going into this with no plan and you have no clue what you're going against! I won't heal you every damn week." Cas yelled, making Dean feel guilty, but he didn't back down from his position.
"Then don't." Dean said, spitefully. He hadn't been in a great place mentally, and he knows he had been irresponsible with his case taking, but he had no desire of changing it.
"You know what Dean, fuck you." Cas said, knowing that Dean didn't mean that and that it was just to rile him up more. Cas stepped closer to Dean, putting a finger on his chest. "You have to learn to take care of yourself." Cas said, less than two inches away from Dean's face.
Dean smirked, making Cas know what kind of comment he was going to make next. He sighed as Dean opened his mouth to say, "are we gonna fight or make out here?"
Cas walked back a few steps, took a deep breath, and finally said it. "Neither. I'm done. We're done. I can't fight anymore about this shit. Do whatever you want, I'm out." Cas said, making Dean's smirk drop into a frown, his eyes showing fear.
"You don't mean that." Dean said, hoping to god that Cas didn't actually mean it.
"Yes, I do." Cas said as he turned to walk out of the room.
"Cas wait!" Dean said, making Cas spin on his heels. "Don't do this." Dean pleaded. He couldn't lose Cas, not then.
"Until you prove that you have changed, it's over." Cas said as he made his way to his bedroom. Dean broke down in tears. He drove Cas away with his irresponsibility. Something he'd tried to hard to not show, though it didn't work most of the time.
~~four months later, present day~~
Dean lays in his bed, quietly listening to music. He looks over at the side of the bed that Cas used to sleep in and felt a wave of longing for the angel. He's never loved someone like he loved Cas, but he went too far.
Today, if they were still together, would have been his and Cas' three year mark. He wishes he wasn't so careless with his own health four months prior.
