CHAPTER 16: THE FATE CHANGER

COMMANDER JOAKIM'S POV

I need to wait until I fully recovered. I can feel the pain on my rib and I can't move my broken left arm. I know I don't need to move a lot.

My daughter had to follow Levi to look after his newer squad while I have to finish some documents needed to be sign. Only me, Erwin, Hange and Pär with me for now.

I really feel bad with Erwin as he loses his right arm after being almost being eaten by Titan. I knocked the door and had to look after him.

"Hey Erwin, how's it going?" I asked him.

"Well, at least I'm doing good. How about you?" Erwin replied.

"Same too," I answered shortly.

"Look, I know I really feel bad about you. Maybe it's really hard for you when loses your right arm," I sat down as I entered his room.

"Well, it's fine. It's not your problem actually. I risk my life to save my comrades from being Titan's victims," Erwin said and smiled.

I exhaled my breath while looking at the window and tried to change topic "Well, I can't believe that you let Lana become a part of us since her betrayal alongside Reiner and Bertholdt,"

"At least, she changed her mind before it's too late. At least we also save her from being trap with Reiner and Bertholdt. Those traitors can run but they can't hide from us," said Erwin.

"Don't worry, Erwin. In the other time, we will hunt them down. Even if you lose your right arm, then I'll be your right arm too. As a close friend, I'll never left you behind," I put my hand on his shoulder to gain his confidence.

He smiled and we would have snacks together like scones and tea. Levi is not with him right now so I will also take care of him in this infrimary.

NADIA'S POV

Oh no, we have an emergency right now! Apparently while we have a mission, our comrades were become target of the scumbags MP. Nifa was being shot and Eren and Historia were kidnapped. Levi had to face his archenemy which I remember his name, because he knew him so much. His name is Kenny and Levi would even wanted to kill Kenny.

On the other hand, our squad tried to hunt down Kenny's goons and even tried to save Eren and Historia. While Levi settling down against Kenny, I have to kill one of Kenny's goons, her name is Caven. She is strong one in Kenny's squad. I tried to distract her attention to avoid from helping Kenny. The killing plan is not as I expected. She's really a beast.

"You're not getting away from my watch!" I tried to strike her using my blades but she counterattack using her guns.

I stick to Levi back to back while fighting on our opponents. His fight is getting tense while I was going to slice the others to bits with my blades.

I saw Caven tried to come over to Kenny and I approach to her wildly like a lioness. "There you are, you slippery little bitch!"

She dodged and my attack didn't work. She would shot on my left waist. I could hold my pain as the bullet hit on my right waist.

"Shit, that hurts!" I would instantly tried to get the bullet out from my belly and my wound would instantly heal. I would continue to fight alongside Levi. We almost getting closer to the wagon where Eren and Historia were being unconscious.

"Armin, Jean! Secure your wagon! We'll cover you!" Levi command them to secure that wagon.

"Yes, sir!" Armin understood.

"Nadia! Back up on me!" He would told me to fight with him.

"Roger!" I agree and continue to fight.

Armin and Jean tried to confront one of the MP who drive the wagon. Mikasa tried to save Jean but Armin would shot that one MP girl from behind. That was his first kill he had ever done.
