Wednesday went to bed at eleven pm, her normal sleeping time being three am. When she woke up she felt terrible. She was drenched in her own sweat and the discomfort in the back of her throat had worsened. When she swallowed it felt like something was scraping across her throat.

Today her father was expected to take her to the hospital, not her mother. This was because today she was planning to spend time out with Pugsley. She didn't mind because she for sure needed a break from seeing her all the time.

"How are you feeling my little raven?" Her father asked her while getting into the car

She raised her hand up giving her a thumbs up because her throat was still hurting.

"Thank goodness this is your last chemo and radiation therapy for this cycle. Once we get home you can lay down in your bed and we'll bring the extra TV up for you."

Normally she would be delighted that the TV was up in her room. This would enable her to binge watch her favorite murder documentaries. However, she's finding it harder and harder every day to look forward to something she loves to do.

When they arrived at the hospital they proceeded straight to radiation therapy which in her case turned out well. After her radiation therapy, they went over to the waiting area where she was getting her chemo therapy done. She took a seat in her normal spot. One of the nurses she had finally learned the name of which was Kasey, had put in her IV while she waited to be called in. About 5 minutes after she got the IV put in she started to taste something revolting.

The taste was starting to annoy her but she insisted that she didn't want to seem weak and ask for a lollipop. Requesting for a lollipop is like asking for another car because you didn't like the color it was, it's childish to do.

But her father didn't seem to let this pass. He could tell she wasn't feeling alright from how her cheeks looked like they were becoming slightly pale. Her father walked over to the reception desk asking if there was anything they could possibly give her to make her feel better. The person at reception pushed over a jar full of lollipops and let him choose one. When he first glanced at the jar, he spotted the perfect one. It was black and had a black cherry flavor. It was just right for her.

Gomez took the lollipop and said a quick thank you and then brought it over to where they were sitting. He unwrapped the lollipop and held it in front of her without saying a word.

She took the lollipop and placed it in her mouth. The flavor definitely helped with the revolting taste. She then got a text from Ajax saying "can't go to yours sorry but I got all banned from leaving Nevermore for a month cause I accidentally stoned Ms Weems and set the science lab on fire with Yoko and Xavier" she couldn't lie she was a bit disappointed that Ajax wouldn't be coming over any more but at that moment she got a call from Enid. As she answered the phone, she placed her lollipop on the rapper's side and placed her phone on his.

Enid looked surprised at how pale she looked, but she didn't mention anything about it.

"Hey Wednesday! How are you doing?"

"I'm all right, thanks for asking. What do you want?" she mentally scolded herself for sounding so hostile.

" I was just wondering if I could come over and you know hang out with you"

"Yeah, you can come over after I'm done with chemo if you'd like."

"Oh shit did I call you at a bad time?"

"No you're fine"

"Ok good, I'll come over when you're done with chemo then which is at...?"

"Eleven, so in two hours"

"Okay sounds great I'll see you later Wednesday byeee" Enid says before hanging up

Though it had been almost a month since she and Enid last saw each other, she couldn't hold back the excitement. She couldn't hide the fact that she couldn't wait to hug Enid. The moment Enid stepped out of the car, she embraced her tightly. The hug lasted for more than a minute. Do not ask how she knew that the hug lasted for more than a minute.

Though she and Enid were apart for so long Enid seemed to become more bubbly and enthusiastic. She gave a tour to the bubbly girl. She was amazed at everything she saw especially Wednesday's room. This is where she will be staying. Not in her bed of course, but instead in a small portable bed Lurch had brought in.

Wednesday had always enjoyed Enid's company but she noticed she felt nervous about just her and Enid just hanging out. It was just the two of them. Why was she feeling so.... nervous around her? Yes, they have shared a room together but this was the first time they had actually hung out together outside of school which was completely different. During school they would have things to keep them occupied. For example, she would spend time bee keeping with Eugene and Enid would visit and hang out with Yoko and Divina. Or sometimes she would be having her writing time and Enid would be either studying or taking a nap. But this time she would be able to spend the whole weekend with her.

They talked about things occurring on with them at the moment. They read books next to each other and watched movies together. Enid even taught her how to crochet which is something she would have never thought she would actually enjoy. She even thought about making it her new hobby.

Morticia and Gomez were in the kitchen drinking some coffee while the girls were outside sitting at an old picnic table with a plate of cookies with them.

"Wednesday's cough seems to be getting better which the doctor says was excellent last time I saw him " Morticia says setting her empty mug down.

"That's really good right? That means the mass is shrinking, right?" Gomez says while grabbing both of the empty mugs and putting them in the sink to wash.

"The doctor says it's a good sign that the mass is shrinking at the pace we were hoping for it to move at."

As Gomez starts to clean the dishes he looks out the window to see Enid and Wednesday talking. Morticia walks over and looks at the girls through the window.

The girls seemed to be deep in the conversation they were having. Enid looked to be speaking a million words a second while looking out at the sunset. And Wednesday kept her eyes on Enid throwing in a few words here and there. But there was a new kind of glint in Wednesday's eyes something she could immediately tell. The glint in her eyes was full of adoration.

"You're seeing what I'm seeing, aren't you?" Gomez asked.

"Yeah." She looked over at him. "You think she's-"

"In love with Enid? Yes one-hundred percent" Pugsley says walking in causing both parents to jump at his unexpected appearance

"Why do you think she's in love with Enid?" Gomez asked him

"Do you not see the way she looks at her? The way she is around her?" He says like all this was obvious to see

"Yeah I think are little raven might be... infatuated with the wear wolf" Gomez said carefully picking his words.

Morticia looked over at him with a big smile. "I'm so glad we're all on the same page" she says before looking at both boys
