A couple of days after Enid spent the night at Wednesday's they started calling every day again after Wednesday's treatments. It was the only time of the day she waited for. She was always the one to call first. Her and Wednesday started to become closer and closer.

She walked over to her bed with her phone in her hands to call Wednesday. She sat down on her bed and pushed Wednesday's contact. The phone rang and rang but she never answered. She tried to call again but still no answer. Maybe she wasn't feeling well enough today? She put her phone down on her bed stuffing her face in her hands. Was she okay? Did something serious happen again?

If Wednesday didn't answer her call right now maybe she'd call her later to tell her why she couldn't answer? It's Wednesday, so I'm sure she's be fine. Since she has already been through so much, there is no way she can give up now...right? Wednesday could call at any moment. So she waited and waited on her bed watching her phone for Wednesday's call. But still no call. She looked out her window, seeing that it was getting dark out. Why hasn't she called? Was she pushing her away again? Did she do something wrong?

She stayed up all night watching her phone until she accidentally fell asleep at 3am.

She was awoken to her phone ringing. HER PHONE WAS RINGING! She looked for her phone on her bed tossing blankets and pillows around. She looked for a minute until she realized her ring tone was coming from the floor. She got up from her bed to find the phone under her bed. She quickly grabbed it noticing it was a call from the Addams? Maybe Wednesday's phone was broken? Or dead maybe?

"Hello? Wednesday is that you?" she asked.

"Enid dear..." Morticia said... sniffling? Why was she sniffling? Her voice sounded stuffy as well

"Morticia? What's wrong? Are you okay?" She asked worriedly

"Enid dear... I'm sorry but... it's Wednesday" Morticia shakily said before bursting into tears

"What's wrong with Wednesday!?" She frantically asked hoping it wasn't the answer she was thinking of, tears already filling her eyes

Getting her words out, Morticia screamed and burst into a sob. "Enid... she's gone, she's gone!" she cried.

"What?.."

Her phone fell out of her hands. She was hoping what Morticia said was a joke. She felt her eyes become blurry as tears filled them even more making her break out into a painful sob. Wednesday was gone? She was doing just fine the other day. How could this happen?

"She died in her sleep last night... I'm sorry Enid" Gomez's stuffy voice said as Morticia crying was heard in the background.

She felt trapped. It felt like her lungs were closing up. How could the world do this to her?

"We're planning on having her funeral on Wednesday. If you'd like to come I'll send you the info" Gomez said sadly.

"Of course I'll come" she said as tears ran down her face.

A couple of days later, it was the day of the funeral. She remembered when she and Wednesday talked about what would happen when she died. She said she specifically wanted Enid to be there as they buried her.

She had seen many of her older family members get buried but this is Wednesday they're talking about. Wednesday was the love of her life.

All of her and Wednesday's friends had been invited to the funeral as well. She stood with all her friends in the back as they watched the dirt hit the beautiful black coffin. Everyone around her was crying. Despite her pain, she could not cry. She wanted to but she just couldn't get it out.

"Enid" she heard a familiar voice behind her.

It was Yoko.

"I'm so sorry" Yoko said as she hugged her with tears in her eyes. She hugged back.

She sadly sighed hesitantly, trying to avoid accidentally ripping out her claws due to anger, "I mean she was suffering at least now she is not.".

She walked away from the crowd Yoko following right behind her to make sure she was alright especially since she knew how close they were.

They held the funeral at Addams' house where all her relatives were buried. She walked into the house where almost everyone was at. She walked up the familiar set of stairs leading upstairs where nobody was allowed to go. She stepped into the familiar dark room where everything was exactly the way she left it. Her bed wasn't made, which is what she does almost every morning after she woke up. He phone was still on her desk charging. It wasn't dead or broken. All the notifications from Enid calling her were still there.

Yoko stood beside her as she looked around her room noticing every small detail. Enid walked over to Wednesday's window where they would have the best conversations when she came over.

"You wanna talk about it?" Yoko said softly as she slowly walked towards her

Enid didn't say anything. She didn't move. She felt like she couldn't breath. Her mind couldn't process her death. How could she be gone she was doing fine the day before!?

"I think we should head back downstairs Enid" Yoko said resting her hand on her shoulder

She looked at Yoko before bursting into a loud sob.

Yoko embraced her tight, allowing her to sob on her shoulder as she said, "It's okay, I've got you.". As Yoko held her best friend, tears ran down her face as well. She couldn't help but start crying. Though she and Wednesday fought a lot she still cared about the girl. She knew Wednesday cared about her as well since she would sometimes call her when Enid was unavailable. Wednesday was a great friend and didn't deserve any of this to happen to her.

She woke up in a sweat. It was all a dream? She looked over at her phone a went to her contacts quickly calling Wednesday. The phone rang before she picked up.

Wednesday greeted her in a raspy voice, "Hello? Enid?"

"Oh thank goodness you're alive Wednesday!" She said with relief

"Of course I'm alive why wouldn't I be?"

"No reason. I'll call you tomorrow after your treatment alright?"

"Okay goodnight Enid sweet dreams"

"Goodnight Wednesday hope you have terrible dreams" she said before hanging up.

It was all a dream.
