A few weeks after Enid had the terrible dream of her dying and had to call her at like two in the morning. Enid was coming over to one of her appointments once again and would be staying over for the weekend as well. She couldn't help but feel the fluttering sensation in her stomach once again. She had trouble focusing on anything but Enid. But she definitely didn't complain about it.

Her and Enid have been calling each other every single day. And if she was in the mood she would call Enid for a second time at a random time of the day. Talking to Enid helped her get her mind of things. Being with Enid made her feel more at home than she did in her actual house. She loved Enid's excitement when answering her calls.

She walked over to the bathroom to brush her teeth like she does every morning after she woke up. She was glad she got those mouth sores out. If she didn't she would have stopped brushing her teeth altogether knowing it was bogus for her hygiene. She had also got into the habit of brushing her teeth away from the mirror that hung in front of the sink. This meant she would now brush her teeth in the shower. She just couldn't stand seeing her face. It's like when she first saw Enid's side of the room for the first time it was so bright and colorful she just wanted to pluck her eyeballs out right then and there. So in abbreviation she wanted to pluck her eyeballs out every time she glanced at her face. Sometimes she wondered how Enid could look at her face without throwing up.

After she brushed her teeth she walked out of the bathroom. The cold tile floor made her shiver as she didn't have any socks on. She walked over to her room and looked through her closet. Why was she looking for some actual clothes other than a hoodie and sweats? She had no idea. She stopped looking through her closet and walked over to her drawer and picked out her usual sweats and hoodie. Does she have a million pairs of sweats and hoodies? Yes. Yes she does. After she finished changing and put her shoes on she walked downstairs where her mom was waiting for her by the front door.

"Ready to go?"

"Mhm"

Her mom stood by the door holding it open for her so she could walk to the car as she locked the door. When she reached the car, Lurch had the door open for her already. She said thank you when she got in and got a grunt from Lurch since he couldn't talk. After a minute her mom finally got into the car and sat across from her.

The drive to the hospital felt like hours. When she doesn't want to go to the hospital the drive is faster and when she does the drive is slower. She just hoped Enid wasn't waiting outside the hospital in the cold waiting for her. As she looked out the window she could see the large building coming into view. She couldn't help but feel nervous about interacting with Enid again. She couldn't wait to see her beautiful smile and eyes. Everything about her was beautiful. Gorgeous even. If she had to choose between her novel and Enid she would definitely choose her novel. But if she didn't care so much about her novel, she would have automatically chosen Enid. You know what screw the novel she's picking Enid no matter what.

When they finally arrived at the hospital she could see Enid waiting at the hospital entrance. She felt a sense of guilt rush to her for making Enid wait outside in the cold.

She was told that she would be having a CT-scan again which she didn't mind. They offered her ear plugs to block the machine noise but she declined since she somehow found the sound soothing. She was given a fluid that would help them see her scans better. She drank it down swiftly in two gulps leaving the nurse shocked but made sure to write down on her file that she should have less waiting time since it was important not to wait to long or to short.

After that, they were sent into the waiting room to wait for the technologist to call them in. And before she knew it her name was called after waiting an appropriate amount of time. They were met by a new stern looking older woman named Karen.

"As you already know you're allowed to have a parent with you in the room so your mom can go in with you while your friend waits outside in the hallway" she said

Wednesday felt apprehensive about having Enid waiting outside in the cold so there was no way she was leaving her in a boring ass hallway.

"I don't want my mom accompanying me" she said before looking over at Enid "I would like Enid to instead"

"Absolutely not" the lady said looking far from amused "I know how you teenagers are like you'll just ruin the scans"

As she spoke, the nurse from earlier that was shocked by her drinking skills walked by and peeked his head through the door.

"Come on Karen stop being such a Karen and let her have a friend go in with her. She is the one I was talking to you about earlier. What harm am Is going to be done"

The technician gave them all a death stare before putting her hands up in defeat

"Fine but if anything out of line happens you will be kicked out and into the hallway, understand?"

Enid nodded eagerly with a smile on her face

"Yes we'll behave"

They had Enid put on a radiation-proof apron in order to stay in the room. Her mom and Karen entered into a part connected to the room with all the stuff used to operate the machine. They also had a communication device so the doctor could speak to her and there was a very large window so they could see her. She lay down on the scanning table where she was asked to put her hands above her head and hold her breath in.

The machine then started to move

"You know she kinda looks like my great aunt sulge all old and musty" Enid whispered in her ear so it wouldn't be heard through the speaker

Wednesday suppressed a chuckle but couldn't help but smile

On the other side of the room where her mom was the scan was blurry

"Wednesday lie still!"

Wednesday calmed herself down as a smile still remained on her face. She held her breath in so Karen could do another scan.

"Maybe if she got that stick she had up her ass out and fired her hairdresser she would look way nicer"

The breath she was holding in came out into a fit of laughter causing her scan to blur once again

I think that's enough for you to leave the room, Karen said angrily through the speaker

Observing Wednesday laugh, Morticia smiled. It was her deepest desire to ask the lady if she could let her laugh a little longer. But she knew that the scans were important.

When they finally got home Wednesday couldn't help but smile at the fact that Enid would be staying over again but she quickly hid it before Enid or anyone else noticed.

When they were in the comfort of silence in the room, she noticed something odd about Enid. Enid was acting unlike herself. It was like she was hiding something.

She watched her closely noticing that Enid had one of her hoodies on. How did she not notice this earlier?

"Is that... mine?" she said breaking the silence

"Oh um... yeah but I was cold last night and I found this in your closet and it was cold today as well so I just wore it figuring you weren't using it anymore. I promise I was just borrowing it" she nervously blabbered as her cheeks turned into a shade of red

She carefully scrutinized her actions. She looked flustered and judging from the state of the sweater it seems that she has worn it more than once.

Wednesday watched her fiddle with the sleeves of her hoodie and look at the books on her shelf rather than at her. As nervous as Wednesday felt about seeing her, she seemed nervous about seeing her as well. In reality, Wednesday's nerves were caused by the fluttering feeling in her stomach that occurred when Enid was around. The reasons she felt these things were because she liked Enid. Then why was Enid so nervous?

Is there a possibility that Enid has the same feelings for her as she had for her?
