Once Wednesday's break had stopped and she started feeling much better she was told she could return back to doing her usual treatment which she wasn't so happy about. But the doctor had told them that she was able to start a new cycle. It was the last cycle they had to do before she was free to go back to being herself again. She would be able to go back to Nevermore and be with Enid.

Once again, her mother was accompanying her. It seemed that she couldn't get away from her mother. It's like she would die if she did.

The two of them were in the car as Lurch drove them to the hospital. She was sitting across form her mom as she thought. She realized that she had been allowing herself to be passed around from doctor to doctor. Before all of this she had never let anything or anyone boss her around in any way. However, she has been poked with needles and given several bottles of medication that she was told to take daily. She has even been cut open. All because she let some doctors boss her around.

She felt the car bounce as it hit a familiar speed bump. She looked out the window and saw the tall building. A part of her wanted to jump out of the moving car and run back home but she knew she wouldn't make it all the way.

She felt her anxiety spike when she saw the car getting closer and closer to the front of the hospital where Lurch usually dropped them off. She felt as if her lungs were being sucked out.

Every time she started a new cycle she was always told it would be less painful but what they never told her is that there is always a painful surprise in the middle. But now that this was the last cycle she had to pass through she knew it wouldn't be as challenging as the last one. She had more than a few more months until she was finally free. But she had to endure through these months still feeling sick because it was not like this would all just go away completely without any side effects. She just didn't want to step back into that surprisingly comfortable examination chair.

She felt her nose sting as tears threatened to fall when the car came to a halt. There was a feeling that she might cry at any moment. Slowly, she stepped out of the car. She could sense her body wanting to run in the other direction back to the house. Her mom closed the door after she gotout of the car and started walking towards the hospital entrance expecting her to follow her. However, her feet remained on the ground. As she stared at the tall building in front of her, she was unable to move.

When her mom didn't feel her presence beside her she stopped looking back at her with a puzzled look on her face.

"Come on dear we have to get inside" her mom said gesturing for her to come to her.

Wednesday couldn't say a word. It was like her mouth was glued shut. She felt her breath quicken as she started to panic more. She started to feel light headed.

"Wednesday, dear I know you're fed up with all this but remember you have just a few months left" her mom gently said trying to make her think of the bright side of all this.

"I don't want to go in" she said as she was breathing heavy and labored

Morticia could tell how upset her little raven was. Her body was tense and her face showed signs of fear.

"Please mom" Wednesday said as her lips trembled. "I don't want to go"

When her posture became rigid, tears poured from her eyes. She tightly held onto the side of her sweat pants as she stared into her mother's eyes as she struggled to breathe evenly.

Morticia felt like a terrible mother having to force her daughter into going to a hospital so she could stay alive and well. She wanted her daughter to get better but for that to happen her little raven needed to get filled with poison.

"I know dear" she said walking over to her to try and calm "just calm down so you can breathe properly alright"

Her dark brown eyes stared off into the distant while she tried to even out her breathing.

"You're going to be okay" she kept trying "you just need a couple of more months before you can go back to Nevermore and see Enid. You want to see Enid right?"

Wednesday nodded. She waited as the girl kept breathing shakily. Calming herself down she closed her eyes causing a few more tears to roll down her cheeks. She kept her eyes closed for a bit till she felt her breathing calm down. She opened her eyes taking a deep breath before looking at her mom.

"I haven't talked to Enid for a few days" she sadly mumbled out

"That's alright" Her mom said "I bet she understands why maybe you could try calling her later when you feel better"

She looked at her mom still trying to keep her emotions under control. They stayed silent for a moment. Her mom gave her some space so she could let all her emotions out instead of keeping them in. After a while she felt much calmer, but she still didn't move. Her mom noticed and gently took hand and led them into the hospital.

Once they got into the hospital they made their way into the infusion area where she had a nurse put her IV in. After the nurse had left she let out a couple of tears quickly wiping them away in hopes her mom didn't notice.

Gomez was at home with Pugsley while Morticia and Wednesday were at the hospital getting her usual treatment done. He was out fishing with Pugsley. It was their favorite thing to do together.

As he was about to throw another grenade into the lake he got a call.

He excused himself for a moment before checking who was calling. It was Enid. Of course he answered his daughter-in-law's call.

"Hello?"

"Hi Gomez!"

"Hello Enid what seems to be the matter?"

"Well Wednesday hasn't been answering my call or anything so I was hoping to ask if she's doing alright" Enid said with a bit of worry in her voice

"She hasn't? Well she has been feeling a bit down lately so that's probably why."

"Is it because of the treatment? Is she feeling really unwell after it?" She asked worriedly

"No, it's more of an emotional train" he explained

This didn't seem to reassure Enid. There was something awful about the thought of Wednesday suffering more emotionally than physically.

"I'll come over tomorrow."

"Are you sure?" He asked "don't you have class to attend?"

"It's fine principal Weems won't mind. I'll meet you guys at the hospital tomorrow morning."
