Wednesday had woken up a bit sore from what had happened yesterday but she knew she would get over it in a couple of hours. Once she was given her food from the worker she didn't really bother to learn the name of at the time, she was given water and dry depressing pancakes. She also got sausages and a fruit cup. Good thing she didn't eat any of the pancakes or sausages because the fruit cup was already giving her stomach problems. She couldn't even finish half the cup before she had to set it aside due to losing her appetite midway.

She was already starting to hate it here. Since she was on the pediatric ward there was at least one baby crying every single damn time peace and quiet started to form. She also hated how the hallways and rooms were so colorful and bright. Her mother wasn't here at the moment because she returned home to retrieve Wednesday's phone and headphones. This was to keep her from trying to kill anyone at the moment. While she was reading a book one of the nurses had brought in a her a really terrible knock off super man and a clown with a balloon. They tried to enter the room. I gave them a deadly glare warning him not to step foot inside the room.

"Wait, could I just have the balloon?" It was a deep black colored balloon. The clown quickly walked over and handed her the balloon before walking out into a different room with Superman.

Once her mother came back with her headphones and phone she gave a quick thank you before slipping them on feeling much calmer, she clicked on to an app that had music she could listen to. She searched around for a while looking for a song to listen to till she found one she liked. She turned her phone off and laid her head down on her pillow. She looked around her room and saw that her mother was talking to someone on her phone in the corner of the room. It must have been her father or Pugsley calling to say goodnight.

She turned over on her side closing her eyes as she felt herself starting to fall asleep.

Morticia watched as she fell asleep. She walked over to the bed placing the blanket over her and carefully pulling her headphones off setting them off to the side along with her phone.

Her mother was happy that she would be starting to be able to do her treatment for the first time today. However, she had been a total nervous wreck thinking about it. With her cough still really irritating, they were hoping to reduce the mass a bit once they had finished her first cycle which would be in a while.

She and her mother were going to be taken to her doctor's office in a couple of minutes. Therefore, she carefully changed into the clothes she had worn yesterday before surgery.

"Wednesday Dr. Martinez is ready for you" a nurse said waiting at the doorway for her and her mother. Once they made it to his office he greeted them with a small smile before sitting down at his desk.

"It's great to see you both today hope you're doing well after the surgery Wednesday" he says looking at her before looking at something on his computer "Alright so for Wednesdays treatment we are going to be injecting her drugs through her IV that she still has in at the moment something we will be providing her with the drugs physically but most of the time through the IV. The drugs we will be mostly giving her for treatment are Cyclophosphamide and Dexamethasone. If she will need an additional or different kind of drug we will be giving it to her right away. Additionally, she will undergo radiation therapy during the first cycle.

"And the side effects? Will she be feeling okay enough to be doing things normally?" Morticia asked nervously

"The side effects will most likely be like the things people have expressed online. What I'm saying is that it won't be much of a comfortable experience. For example you will feel nauseated, and you might slowly or quickly lose your hair due to the medicine we will be giving you. You will also become anemic. For the nausea we will try are best to help keep that stuff down with some anti-nausea medication we will be prescribed with that you can pick up later tomorrow since it seems that you can leave tomorrow" he says before scrolling down on the screen of his computer "and for the Anemia which is a common side effect of chemo, we will be needing you guys to contact us immediately if you ever feel dizzy or severely tired. Since you also might have a low amount of palets in your blood and as you know your white blood count will most likely drop. This causes you to become more sensitive to catching certain types of infections. Therefore, we want you to keep your distance from large groups of people and people who may be sick. I will also be handing you a folder of things Wednesday can't eat or do while her immune system defense is low" he says handing her mother a folder filled in with a couple of critical papers

Morticia felt the heavy weight on her shoulders due to having to deal with the seriousness of Wednesday's illness. She looked over at Wednesday who looked completely unbothered about everything that was going on around her. She said goodbye, while she walked Wednesday to the area where she would be getting her radiation therapy done in. The halls were quiet which she knew Wednesday appreciated.

Because she will be doing radiation therapy, the radiation rays will be transmitted through her chest through her body and out her back. So she was given a type of lotion that would stop damage to her skin before she entered into the large machine. The process didn't take long but she was given a bottle of the lotion that she would now be using every time before and after her radiation therapy.

After her mother stopped asking the doctors questions the nurse led us to the area she would be getting her chemo therapy from. While her mother registered her in she looked around. The whole room looked horrendous. It was so colorful and it was full of bright toys too.

"Hello Wednesday, welcome to your first treatment. If you need anything just tell us. You can go ahead and take a seat in any of those chairs over there.

She immediately walked over to a chair in the corner of the room. After a few minutes a nurse came over and put some clear liquid through her IV. After she was finished she asked if she would like a lollipop or popsicle if she was feeling nauseated. It helps people to get some flavor in their mouth to get rid of the feeling.

Once the nurse left leaving them alone in the corner she had finally noticed the kids that were crying outside of the room. The kids sitting down tired in chairs not even bothering to play with the toys set out for them. She was now starting to realize how much of a hell hole this place really was.
