Y/n sat at a table looking towards the group of four friends.

"Dude you're staring again..." Ashton says as he walks up to the table.

"I was spacing out... there is a difference," Y/n defends.

"Whatever you say," Ashton says laughing softly. "Seriously  what is it about her that intrigues you?" Ashton asks.

"Oh, um... I'm not sure... I guess I find her interesting in general.

"I mean with both of your quirks you'd work nicely together, not to mention her looks," Ashton says smiling.

"Yeah..." Y/n says as he watches the three friends interact.

"I'd act fast, I think someone is going to confess to her," Ashton says pointing at the male walking towards the group of three.

"Yeah, I probably should..." Y/n says sighing before watching the girl nod.

"Oh... looks like you're too late..." Ashton says biting his lip.

"I'll survive," Y/n says his eyes drifting to his true crush.

Y/n L/n liked a boy, Shota Aizawa, to be exact. No one knew, and he's never told anyone or written it down anywhere. It's all been bottled up in his head. He was Gay, no one knew that either. He couldn't tell anyone, especially his parents. His parents were not fond of the LGBTQ+ community. In short, they were homophobic. It's ironic, isn't it? Being homophobic and having a gay son. Y/n was prepared to never tell anyone about his true feelings for the other boy. He was prepared to stay single forever. That is... until his parents asked him something.

"Y/n, why don't you date? There are so many nice girls out there and you are with none of them. I want grandbabies eventually. You know that," Y/n's mom says.

"I guess no one has interested me yet.  I'm sure I'll find someone," Y/n says shrugging.

"You better. I don't want you regretting your life choices later in life," Y/n's mom says.

"Find a girlfriend soon, or we will find someone for you," Y/n's dad says gruffly.

"Yes sir," Y/n says before standing up. He walks to his room and as soon as the door shuts he slides down it, sobbing silently.

It was graduation day, and Y/n was a day away from being eighteen. He had saved his allowance and money from his job to move out when he turned eighteen. He plans on moving into a small apartment, starting his hero career, and maybe finding a boyfriend one day. He never planned on dating anyone but as he grew and learned, he realized his parent's opinions didn't matter. If they want to cut their only child off because he was gay then they can do that. Graduation ended and soon Y/n was at his home. His parents were on a work trip for a month so he had time to get everything he owned moved out. A week before his parents were due to arrive back home, Y/n was finished with moving. Y/n tapes the note, which he has written for years now, onto his old bedroom door. He smiles before walking out to his car and getting in.  He drives away. Away from Musutafu. Away from his parents. Away from his worries.

~Three years later~

Y/n walks into the cafe where he used to work and smiles once he sees his old boss.
