There was a little diner hidden amongst the tall buildings of Musutafu. Not many people knew about it, making it fairly empty most days. You didn't know how the place stayed afloat, but it did, and that made you happy. Your home life was chaotic. It wasn't bad, but being the middle child of nine kids was chaotic. Not to mention, you were the only singleton. All your siblings were born with a best friend by their side. Two sets of twins and one set of quadruplets were all born through IVF since your mom and dad had trouble conceiving. Well, trouble conceiving everyone but you. You were the surprise baby. Born right between the second set of twins and the quads. You had the two oldest sisters, Aiko and Akiko, they were exactly alike, being total girly girls. Then you had the two second oldest brothers, Kai and Kail, They were exactly alike, as well, two nerd boys who study and always get high marks. Then the quads were each like your other siblings. You had Hinata, Hikari, Haru, and Hanae. Hinata is a boy and Kikari is a girl. They acted like Aiko and Akiko, total preps, Haru, the other boy, and Hanae the other girl, acted more like Kai and Kail. You weren't close to any of them. The four older ones were born five years before you and the four younger ones were born three years after you. Not to mention the difference in interests. Your siblings like makeup and studying and you just wanted to be a hero. To prove to your parents that you would be someone worth knowing. You didn't want to be the forgotten child who no one paid attention to. You wanted to have their eyes on you for once.
Growing up, whenever you wanted to show something off, someone always had your parent's attention already. Since your older siblings were school-age by the time you were born, they always had your parent's attention with projects and by the time you were old enough to understand, your younger siblings were born and they needed attention more than you. You often found yourself playing alone while growing up. Your siblings always seemed to have friends and something to do. Whether it be after-school activities or parties they were always on the go, making your parents busy as well. You often find yourself getting yourself places. You walked everywhere and knew the public transportation lines like the back of your hand.
That was how you found Millie's Diner. You had just started using the bus and you had gotten off at the wrong stop, so to pass the time you decided to enter the diner and get a milkshake. You've been coming here every day to study and have bottomless milkshakes ever since. You were in your first year back then. Now you were a third year and you found yourself at the dinner again sipping a milkshake while looking over a review packet you made.
"Another shake Y/n?" The waitress asks.
"Yes please, Kaycee," You respond with a smile. The staff knew you and treated you like a family member since you first entered the doors on your first day of first year.
"Coming right up," she says with a smile. The bell above the door rang signaling someone had walked in.
"Hey Daichi," You greet the regular who walks in.
"Hello, Y/n," Daichi says walking over to you. Daichi was a boy in the same year as you but went to a different school. Where you went to UA, he went to a nonhero school down the road called Karasuno. He enjoyed volleyball and from the few games you've attended, he was quite good.
"Mind if I join you?" He asks.
"Not at all," you say with a smile. He sits and pulls out his books.
"Is Suga coming by as well?" You ask and he nods.
"He said he would meet me here," Daichi says with a small blush on his face.
"You know, you should tell him..." You say with a smile.
