Battlefield Confessions

"Birdie I'm going on this mission and you can't do anything about it. I'm a pro hero too and you will need help."
"Hawks stop questioning orders and focus on the mission," Endeavor scolds.
"Baby bird, I just don't want you to get hurt."
"Keigo, we've been friends since childhood. Knowing me, do you really think I'd die so easily?"
"Of course not, but still."
"Let's go, you two." Endeavor calls and looks at the friends.

As the fighting gets intense she couldn't help worrying about her bird friend. She constantly checks the battlefield to ensure his safety.
Unknown to her, Hawks does the same.
(Y/n) manages to take down her last villain and ties him up. She hands him to the police then looks for Hawks.
The said blonde pants softly as he defeats his villains.
(Y/n) frowns and walks over quickly.
Keigo looks at her and smiles.

Before he can say anything she grabs his hand.
"I know you don't like the L-word, but I'm in love with you Keigo. I have been for years now. Every day I worry it's gonna be our last, but you make it worth it. Please tell me you feel the same."
Keigo's eyes widen in surprise slightly but he remains silent.
After a while she frowns and looks away. "You don't... that's ok." She pulls away and starts walking away.
Keigo quickly grabs her wrists, causing the woman to turn sharply toward him.
Her eyes widen when he kisses her.

(Y/n) kisses back and cups his face.
He pulls away and smiles, leaning his forehead against her. "I've had a crush on you for years now too. I didn't want to say anything but now that I know you feel the same..."
The woman smiles and holds his hands tightly.
"I feel the overwhelming pressure to protect you baby bird. I want to keep you safe and happy, as my life partner."
She nods quickly and squeezes his hands. "I want to be yours."

Endeavor clears his throat and crosses his arms.
The couple looks at their friend.
"Can you two wait until the mission is over to be all coupley?" The fire man complains.
(Y/n) blushes and buries her face in Keigo's chest.
The blonde holds her close and kisses her head.
Once they finish the mission Keigo flies her back to his place.
Unknown to them Dabi smirks from the shadows. "Mr. #2 has a big weakness. I wonder what would happen if I hurt the little mouse in front of him. I can't wait to find out." He mumbles, putting his hands in his pockets and walks back to the hideout.
