It was too early.
Way too early in the morning.Maybe - No - it definitely was because she went to bed late last night.
Late means way after midnight, she hadn't looked at the clock and eventually just fell asleep.
But when it got exciting midway through the series, how could you stop?Lisa especially regretted it now, her eyes burned and she had to continuous supress her yawning. The hot coffee from the surprisingly good coffee machine did what was necessary to keep her awake, but it didn't really help her focus on class.
Her eyes kept getting heavier.
She almost dozed off every two minutes, she heard the voices off her teacher and her classmates, although what they said didn't get trough to her.
Right next to her Rosé did her best not to let the teacher notice that Lisa had been mentally absent for a long time now. When she felt Rosé's elbow in her side, not for the first time this morning, her eyes widened instantly.
Only now she realized that she and Rosé were the only ones left in the room.
She blinked, then looked at her friend and smiled apologetically.
Rosé just sighed."You got it?"
Lisa nodded, blinked a few more times and stuffed her things into her backpack before getting up.
"I'm sorry...",
she said.
For the nth time today.
Rosé simply nodded before the two walked out of the class.
Lisa tiredly followed her to the Forum, a courtyard just above the auditorium. The sky could be seen directly above her through the glass roof, and the warm sunlight actually managed to wake Lisa up a bit.
As always most of the students stayed in the Forum, it was quite cramped. The two could easily have gone the longer way around, so it was pretty obvious to Lisa that Rosé somehow tried to take revenge on Lisa for having to drag her out of bed this morning.
Literally.
She literally combed Lisas hair and brushed her teeth. Yes, Rosé was pretty much single-handedly responsible for Lisa making it to school every morning, which was some days harder than others.
For example when Lisa ruined her sleep schedule by binge-watching Netflix series until 5 a.m.Ultimately, while Rosé was very gentle and empathic, she didn't hesitate to take her frustration out on Lisa, even if it only was by forcing the younger girl through the sweating crowd of pubescent students.
Arriving in the opposite hallway Lisa was a little more awake, albeit rather involuntarily.
Either way, the dark circles under her eyes were still clearly visible, what didn't necessarily made Lisa any less attractive. She was pretty tall and popular, with the boys as well as the girls. The latter interested Lisa much moreRosé was popular among the students as well, which she was hardly aware of until this semester. She was incredibly sweet towards her classmates, happy to always help without hesitation, had a soft voice and was really pretty.
All were reasons why she was elected as second student representative.
When Rosé, who joined the election for fun, received the second most votes, she realizes how much she was liked and appreciated by her classmates.Besides being usually very gentle, she could get harsh on people she cared about, such as Lisa. Though not for very long.
"You are terrible.",
whined Lisa while being pulled to the next room by Rosé.
She hated math.
Not necessarily because of the lesson itself, she didn't really care.
Not because of the teacher either.
Although her teacher was strict, she could be quite sweet and was good at explaining as well.Math was the first lesson on Mondays she had to spend with Jennie.
Ice Princess Jennie Kim.
Student representative.
Star student and rich heiress.
