She could not believe it.
Not while she was driving home, not even when she was showering.

She was absolutely lost in thought as she sat down at the table, smiling contentedly, not even noticing that her two older siblings were also there.

Jisoo's big sister, Jiyoon, stared at her in surprise. Her little sister had never ignored her before, not even when they had argued, Jisoo was too polite for that.
And she had too much fun annoying her older sister.
Something was wrong.
Jiyoon tapped her older brother, who nodded to show that he too realized something was up.

Jisoo was behaving unusually.

Junghun put some chicken on his youngest sister's plate with his chopsticks.

"You're in thought."

He stated, looking at her.

"Oh. Oppa."

Jisoo looked at him, eyes wide in surprise, now noticing her sister as well.

"Unnie. I'm sorry, when did you get here?"

Jiyoon moved a little closer to her.

"We were here the whole time, even before you got home. What are you thinking about that you're so distracted? Or better yet, who?"

Jisoo widened her eyes.
She realized immediately that any excuse was unnecessary.
Her siblings knew her too well for Jisoo to simply lie to them, so the truth was best. Especially now, when her parents were engrossed in conversation and paid little attention to their children's whispers.

"I kissed someone. And I have a date on Saturday.",

Jisoo muttered, trying to suppress her grin.
Junghun just blinked in surprise, having to process the information first, while Jiyoon clapped her hands joyfully.

"My little sister has a date~. With whom?"

Jisoo rolled her eyes as her parents now interrupted their own conversation and looked at their youngest daughter in surprise.

"You have a date?"

Her father asked. Jisoo sighed but nodded, now being stared at by all four members of her family.
She gave up without a fight and put her chopsticks aside.

"Go on. Ask me anything."

"What's his name?"

Her brother asked, but when Jisoo raised his eyebrows, he cleared his throat and corrected his sentence.

"Her. What's her name?"

"Park Chaeyoung."

Jisoo replied, smiling again.
Her family had known about her sexuality for almost a year, but since she didn't talk about it often it was probably natural that her big brother had forgotten; he wasn't disrespectful, nor intolerant.
Besides, he didn't live with Jisoo and her parents anymore, so it really made sense that he had forgotten.

"And you said you kissed her? Today?"

Jiyoon asked.
Jisoo could see her parents' eyes widen in surprise while her sister grinned widely.
Jisoo simply nodded.

"How did it happen?",

her mother wanted to know, at the same moment her father asked:

"What does she look like?"

Jisoo hesitated, then decided her father's question would be quicker to answer, and pulled her phone out of her pocket.
On Instagram, she showed her family one of the videos from the student council, in which the blonde-haired girl introduced the benefit party.
Her brother nodded in satisfaction.
