Jennie pulled the car up in front of the Park family's house.

She didn't know how to feel. Was she looking forward to the date?

She sighed softly.
Why should she be? Lisa had only asked her to be out of Rosé and Jisoo's way. Jisoo had confessed to her yesterday that she had specifically asked Lisa to be out of the house on Saturday.
Surprisingly, Lisa came up with the date herself.

Finally, Jennie managed to get over herself and got out of the car.
She just decided not to expect anything.
Why should Lisa make any effort?
Why should she want Lisa to make an effort?
Lisa probably didn't even care about Jennie's forgiveness and would have her drop her off anywhere.

As soon as she rang the doorbell, Lisa opened the door for her, a smile on her face as if she had been waiting for Jennie right behind the door. Her smile quickly turned into a frown.

"Jennie... hi..."

Lisa's eyes traveled over Jennie's body for a moment, and Jennie immediately became nervous..
Did she look... okay?

"Um... you look great, Jennie, but I thought I wrote you should wear something comfortable...?"

Jennie blinked and looked down at herself.
She was wearing a white oversize shirt that came halfway down her thighs. It was long enough that you couldn't even guess that she wore black shorts underneath.
She also wore incredibly comfortable boots.
Her outfit was stylish, yes, but still comfortable.

"Yes.",

she therefore only confirmed, and finally eyed Lisa.
The dark-haired Thai girl wore a pair of slightly washed-out, too-long, loose jeans and a black Ramones band-shirt, along with white sneakers.
Definitely simple and comfortable, too.
Jennie couldn't make out any obvious differences between Lisa's definition of comfortable, and her own interpretation.

Lisa hesitated, then shrugged.

"That will have to do..."

she muttered to herself, and finally took a step to the side.

"Come on in. Are you thirsty?"

"Yes. Water, please."

Jennie replied, finally taking some time to look around.
The house was large and bright, looking incredibly cozy.
She could see photos of Rosé's family on the walls and on the dressers, quite a few also together with Lisa.

A few moments later, Lisa handed her a glass of water and a small clay pot with a purple hyacinth.
Surprised, Jennie stared at the dark-haired girl in front of her, and was even more surprised when Lisa explained herself.

"I'm afraid the flowers you gave me died... that's why I thought... the flower will survive longer in the pot?"

Jennie smiled her thanks, and eyed the flowers. How did Lisa know she liked hyacinths? It was the flower of her birth month.
Had Lisa... done her research?

Just a few seconds later Rosé came into the living room, two large bags in her hands.

"Ah, Jennie-Unnie! You're here already!",

the blonde girl stated in surprise, setting the bags down on the table in front of Lisa and hugging the older, albeit much smaller girl.

"Lis, the bags are relatively heavy. Do you need help?"

Lisa immediately shook her head and lifted both bags seemingly without a hitch before grinning smugly.
Jennie, however, frowned suspiciously.

"What's that?"

"Surprise."

Lisa only said, and Rosé was silent as well.
Jennie haad to actually wait for said surprise, she realized, which was why she stood up.
