Lisa silently watched Rosé as she sat by the open window, softly strumming her guitar. It was almost a new moon and the sky was clear, almost completely black. Only the stars disturbed the perfect darkness of the night. Nevertheless, Lisa could make out the outline of the blonde girl in front of her. Her soft voice was full of longing, full of passion, and Lisa could clearly hear her emotions. In the safety of the night, Rosé made no attempt to hide. Her emotions were raw, original, and completely honest.
It was beautiful.

The last chord finally rang through the dark room, and Rosé's expectant gaze met Lisa's. The younger girl smiled.

"It's perfect. And you'll play it as an encore?"

Rosé nodded and carefully set the guitar aside before sitting down on the floor with Lisa.

"Lis."

"Hmm?"

Rosé seemed to struggle for a moment before she sighed.

"We need to talk."

Lisa nodded obediently and waited for Rosé to continue. There were a few things her best friend could mean.
For example, the matter of the stalkers.
After all, as of tonight they had four names, perhaps all of them. Logically, this bothered Rosé just as much as Lisa, even though they had decided together to take their time deciding what to do now. They shouldn't rush. Besides, all four of them were overwhelmed by the situation.

Or she wanted to talk about Lisa's mother.
Lisa hoped that wasn't the case, but it was possible. After all, there had been radio silence since that one phone call. Her mother hadn't even got in touch on Lisa's birthday, at least not to Lisa herself, and Rosé knew she was heartbroken without her having to mention it.
Rosé had already offered to talk to her, but as Lisa hadn't taken her up on the offer yet, maybe she thought that now was the time.

Or she wanted to talk about Lisa's feelings for Jennie. They existed... definitely.
Even though Lisa kept trying to convince herself that Jennie was just a simple, arrogant rich brat and that her feelings were just a phase.
But that was really hard once you got to know her better, saw her laugh, saw how vulnerable she was because of the hate account, or how caring she was, making food for Lisa every day and hearing her silly, cute jokes.
Not to mention that Jennie was jealous of Soojin... she was, wasn't she? It had certainly seemed that way. And it was only today, at the same time it seemed like ages ago.

Or maybe Rosé wanted to talk about...

"I... Okay. I was going to tell you sooner or later anyway... And I think I'm ready now."

Rosé swallowed and looked carefully at Lisa. Now that Rosé was no longer sitting at the window, Lisa could see her less clearly. At the same time, she was sitting only a few centimeters away from her, which meant that most of her facial expressions were still almost recognizable despite the darkness.
Rosé looked rather nervous.

"I... you know I have a crush."

Lisa widened her eyes and opened her mouth, but didn't dare make a single sound. She already knew what her best friend was going to tell her, but Lisa was still nervous.
She didn't even know why.

"I... Oh God, why is it so weird to say it out loud?"

Rosé laughed desperately and rested her head on Lisa's shoulder. Lisa smiled and made a spontaneous decision.

"I already know."

"I... wait, what?"

Lisa grinned silently as Rosé lifted her head again and stared at her. Then she sighed.

"Jennie told you, didn't she?"

Lisa had to stifle a laugh.

"She refused to tell me. I figuered out myself, more or less, and then... No, you know what? Tell me first, then I can tell you how I know."
