Idiot:

Pleaseee! I know you've already done the homework.

And why should I just give it to you? What do I get out of it?

Jennie looked ad her phone and grinned.
She and Lisa might not be friends, but at least they didn't hate each other anymore. It was actually fun to chat with her.

Idiot:

I really didn't have time to!

Driving lessons.

You even know that already!

What do you want?

Nothing.

You should do MY Homework. You get free food from me since three days, after all!

Idiot:

Hey! That's unfair, I never asked for it. You just give it to me.

Jennie grinned at the screen.

You're still the one who's eating it!

The brunette girl was amused by the kitten-stickers Lisa send her, and laughed as Lisa send her a Sticker of a cat with a knife between its pawns.
Jennie gave in eventually and send her at least a part of the homework, so she wouldn't keep whining.

Shortly after, she received a message from Jisoo. Surprised, Jennie looked at the clock.
Usually Jisoo was busy gaming at this hour, so it must be urgent....

Unnie🐢🐰:

Jendeukie.

I need your help.

Can I call you?

Instead of texting, Jennie called her friend herself without hesitation. The older girl answered instantly.

"Hey Jendeukie."

"What did you do? Please tell me I don't have to bail you out of jail.",

Jennie asked immediately instead of greeting back.

"Wow, okay you're exaggerating. If I do something illegal I'm not going to get caught, I'm not stupid."

Jennie chuckled softly and sat down on the dining room chair.

"What else is important enough for you to call now? You're usually gaming at this hour. Is your switch broken?"

Jisoo's unexpected silence rattled Jennie.
She looked at her screen to make sure she hadn't accidentally muted the call or hung up.
No, the call was still going.

"Unnie?"

"Um... yes. Sorry. I need your help."

"I got that much."

Jennie replied, amused and worried at the same time.
Jisoo extremely rarely asked for help, even when she was long out of ideas she preferred to wait for a moment more before asking anyone for help. Maybe out of pride, maybe not to burden anyone.
Maybe both.

"So? What can I help you with?",

Jennie asked, as gently as she could while wiggling her feet.
Patiently, she listened to the sound of the phone, something that sounded like footsteps, a door closing, then a soft sigh.

"What would I have to do to make you fall head over heels for me?"

Jennie's feet instantly stilled and she stared at her phone in confusion.
