Chapter 8

Jennie smiled at the student council members.

"The party will take place. Thanks to Wheein for the consultation with the parents' council. And Lisa, thanks again for the idea." 

While Wheein just nodded, Lisa seemed quite overwhelmed by Jennie's thanks, which is why she didn't say anything.

"Dooyoung, Rosé, have you shoot a video yet?"

The two nodded.

"I've already edited it. I can show it once, then I'll upload it today."

Jennie nodded before Miyeon just stood up.

"Sorry Jennie, but you'll forget. I brought donuts.",

she explained, and handed out the donuts, half chocolate, half strawberry.

"Miyeon, you save me! I was about to ask about it."

Rosé sighed and grabbed a chocolate donut. The girl laughed.

"I've got two for you, Rosé.",

she said, smiling.
Rosé widened her eyes and immediately took her second donut, this time strawberry.

"Marry me!"

"Rosé, you can't marry everyone who gives you food.",

Lisa said, taking a chocolate donut while thanking Miyeon. Namjoon also opted for a donut with chocolate.

"So far, I haven't married anyone. But being able to provide me with food is a good condition for a spouse, isn't it?"

"Whoever feeds you has you as a pet, not as wife.",

Lisa murmured.
However, Wheein heard it, and she giggled as she grabbed one of the pink donuts.

"I don't think Chaeyoung would mind.",

she said, and Lisa laughed briefly before suddenly becoming completely silent again.
Jennie also grabbed a strawberry donut.

"Are they homemade again?"

"Not this time. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to bake."

Jennie took a bite and nodded contentedly.
Dooyoung took the last strawberry donut, leaving Miyeon with chocolate.

"Dooyoung? Will you show us the recording?"

Jennie asked.
The youngest member immediately stood up and presented the video on the whiteboard, in which Rosé explained the changes to the Charity event.

"... The charity party would replace the third evening of our charity concert. If you like our idea, don't forget to keep Friday, May 12th free and to vote yes on Instagram.",

Rosé said in the video at the end.
Everyone on the student council seemed happy with the video. It was amazing how effortlessly likeable Rosé was.

"The video looks good. Post it this evening, Dooyoung."

He nodded and sat back in his seat, where he continued to eat his donut.

"Namjoon, Wheein, what about you?"

"The caterer said he would adapt, and we don't have to pay anything, on the condition that they are allowed to use the charity event as an advertisement, as planned.",

Namjoon explained.

"For the decoration, we still have to look. It's the plan for the party to take place in the building, right?",

Wheein asked. Jennie nodded in agreement.

"Then I would rather keep it simple and work more with the lights."
